Animal Olympics August 8th – August 12th 9am – 4pm (Ages 5 – 11) Monday – Friday READY, SET, GO… your just in time for the summer Olympics! So you think you can kick, bite, jump, and pull? How do stack up against the best? Now its your chance to prove it in this animal vs. kid smack down! How do you size up running against a Komodo Dragon? Can you hold your breath as long as a giant sea turtle? Pull as hard as a giant octopus, or bite as hard as a croc? EcoAdventures will provide the outdoor and indoor Arena you bring the skills. This August, its kids against beasts in a battle on the wild side. This is NO ordinary Olympics here at EcoAdventures. We will challenge you both physically and mentally. I Troop Camping May 6, 7 & 8 - Sandy Ridge
Spend some time camping with your Girl Scout Troop at Sandy Ridge! Price includes accommodations at Sandy Ridge. Troop is responsible for food and programming during their stay. Troop leaders are required to have specific trainings to camp overnight with their Troop at Sandy Ridge. Please contact Michaela Watts at 843-552-9910 ext. 2390 or for more information on training. Troops must have approval by GSESC to overnight camp at Sandy Ridge. A Trip Approval Form must be submitted to your Regional Volunteer Services Specialist (VSS) at least three weeks prior to reservation date. Leadership Camp - Ensworth High School
This course develops leadership skills for middle school students in preparation for High School and beyond. Students spend time in discussion around Harkness Tables, in leadership sessions, in class learning from EHS teachers, participating in PE oriented competitions, and visiting with guest speakers. The leadership camp focuses on hands-on applied projects in various disciplines while covering topics such as public speaking, study skills, writing, technology, and organization. Students participate in team building activities while learning to delegate, rely on others, and practice decision-making skills.
