For Boys and Girls ages 4-12. This camp offers a combination of traditional sports games like floor hockey, soccer, basketball, flag football, handball, wiffleball, physical education activities such as tag games, pinball, battleship, virtual space tag, north south, gold rush, capture the football, and various cooperative games. We ask that our full day campers bring a (peanut butter free) snack and lunch and water bottle, and our half day campers bring a peanut butter free snack and water bottle. Children are divided by age into small groups and will participate in developmentally appropriate activities for their groups. I was excited to find this camp for my 12 year old daughter. She is naturally a quiet child, but she loves horses. This camp helped her stretch outside her comfort zone as she socialized with other children who also shared her love of horses. She couldn’t stop telling us how she explored the prairie on horseback. Session #6 – “Farm Trackers Camp” - July 18-21, Ages 6-12 Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 2 pm Join us on the farm tracking BIG ANIMALS – Farmer Larry will teach you all about how to track animals on the farm. Go on daily nature hikes to track our "big" farm animals. . Learn how animals help make our work easier - which animals dig our garden and which help clear the land. Daily crafts include making your own "Animal Track" necklace to wear and take home, making and decorating your own Trail Camp walking stick to hike the trail. Not to mention our nature SCAVENGER HUNT! Each day will include visits with all our animals as an assistant farm tracker, running and playing in the big pasture, daily take home crafts, and visits to the Fern Valley Farm kitchen for exciting kid friendly creations. When the water gets low the Black is the place to be. Great playboating at Hole Brothers, and a great river running all weekend. Boaters of all skill levels are welcome. Friday: Evening: Sunset surf session at Hole Brothers. Drinks and food at Maggie's on the River. Saturday: Morning surf session followed by a river run Freestyle clinics will be available. Masjid al-Noor Youth Camp is an exciting opportunity to spend time building brotherhood/sisterhood while enjoying recreational activities, and spending time with Shaykh Noman Hussain. The camp will be open for youth between the ages of 12-18. If there are any children that would like to attend under the age of 12, they will be allowed attendance ONLY IF A PARENT/GUARDIAN attends as their chaperone. Brothers and sisters will be in separate accommodations in the same campsite under the supervision of adult male and female camp counselors.
