Welcome to back to AKA Archery Week. AKA Archery Week was once again a hit in 2015 and this years will be even better! Thanks to John "Jack" Wachlarowicz (SCV-MDHA Board of Directors & MN DNR Hunter Education Instructor) and his professional instructors and the MN DNR, this is a weeks opportunity of a lifetime for any kid!!! Featured Field Trip - St. Paul Saints Baseball Game, St. Paul FYI - The actual day camp runs from 9am-4pm though kids are welcome to get dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6pm. Wearable Technology - The Digital Arts Experience
Wearable technology is becoming more and more popular everyday, especially when devices such as fit bits and apple watches exist. However, what if we were to incorporate technology into fashion? In this class, students will learn to invent and create a functional wearable garment, such as a shirt that lights up when reacting to sound, light, or temperature. Students will combine technology & fashion to create great looking, interactive wearables. This class will incorporate sewing, electronics, and fundamental programming. Outdoor Adventure Summer Camp - Week 8 - Fort Tuthill County Park
Remember the old days when kids went outside and explored? Bring those days back and register your child for the Outdoor Adventure Summer Day Camp. Theatre Camp - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
This camp will introduce young actors to playmaking, a process of making theatre as an ensemble through creative play. Students will explore acting, storytelling, costumes, props, music and movement to bring a timeless folktale to life on stage. They also learn how to sing, act and dance to a Broadway-style song.
