Teen Adventure Weekend - Elmdale, KS

Summer Weekend Camping Trip - North Atlanta Christians - Catawa Falls
Summer Camping Trip! Come join is for the annnual weekend of fun in the woods! Catawa Falls Campground offers great streamside tent camping sites, cabins and fantastic waterfalls to explore. We will be hiking and exploring the area around that Campground. We will be 25minutes from Asheville, NC The cost will be roughly $10.00 per person per day of tent camping. The sites we will secure are right off the river! We will have a nearby pavillion to grill and cook. There are MANY cabins to choose from, the cabins have electricity but no running water. All showers will be at the bath house in the middlefo the campground. Those that want to paticipate in getting a cabin please let me know and we can firgure out the cost per person. Campfires every night! Get your marshmellows ready! THIS IS A KID FRIENDLY EVENT!! Kids will have plenty to do with creeks to wade through and a playground nearby. Thsi is going to be a FUN FANTASTIC weekend! We hopeyou can join us!

Woodshop Wizards Wood Working Camp - San Marcos Community Center
Campers will learn hands on techniques that enable them to build their very own wood bi-plane, racecar, and complete train with an engine, caboose, and cars! All projects will be painted, personalized and taken home to treasure. Students use only safe, age appropriate hand tools. SPECIALTY CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY Participants wishing to drop an enrichment class/specialty camp must contact Community Services at (760) 744-9000 x3501. Half-day Specialty Camps A full refund of fees, less a $10 cancellation fee, will be granted if the request is made on the Thursday prior to the start of the camp week. (If the request is made after the Thursday prior to the start of the camp week but before the first day, a full refund, less a $20 cancellation fee, will be granted). A prorated refund of fees, less a $10 cancellation fee, will be granted if the request is made before the second camp day. In this camp, gymnasts will learn the proper fundamentals of gymnastics. Our fun filled lesson plans will keep the campers interested and excited about learning the basics of gymnastics. Gymnasts will work on skills using the beam, bars and springboard. Gymnasts will learn forward and backward rolls, bridges, handstands and cartwheels. This introduction to basic gymnastics is both fun and rewarding. Parents please provide snacks for your child, as we will be breaking daily for a snack. Natural History - Week 2 - Natural History
Can you tell a bird from its call? Identify a mammal from its prints in the mud? Ever wonder where flying squirrels live? How to catch a snake or a bullfrog? Come join us as we adventure through creeks, marshes, forests, and the many natural places of beauty we have to explore on The Heights campus and all around the metropolitan area. The various ingredients of this camp make for a fantastic summer experience. From the personal attention and fun atmosphere of learning, to the outdoor adventures and games, this is an experience hard to beat or imitate. Activities: short classes, nature walks, daily journal, creek exploration, games, field and fishing trips, and specimen collection. Session I will focus on mammals, reptiles, and birds. Session II will focus on insects and trees. Staff Anton Vorozhko teaches 6th grade homeroom in the middle school.
