This is going to be a fun event! We are partnering with Community Hope and Action and West River Valley Thrives to bring you an evening of fun and community support. CHAC has been bringing you the Third Saturday free monthly dinners and concerts for the past year and on December 19 they have welcomed CFK to be there as well with a silent auction to raise money for our wonderful afterschool programs. Come see and bid on beautiful hand made items from local artisans as well as ski pases from Stratton and Mount Snow and many other treats and surprises! It is the season of giving and gratitude. Here is a fun way you can help ensure the future of these enriching programs for our kids, while also getting some of your holiday shopping done!
Kid's Camp Out - Georgetown, KY
Join us for an end- of- summer camp out in the gym. We will have TVs set up for video games, movies, and play games throughout the night. Pizza and pancakes provided for dinner and breakfast. Feel free to bring sleeping bags and any extra snacks you may want. Please RSVP
Be a Civil War Soldier: Kid’s Camp - Mansfield, LA
Have you ever wanted to be a Civil War soldier? Are you between 8-12 years old? Mansfield State Historic Site is hosting an “immersive” event that will allow you to experience what many of the soldiers of the American Civil War did. Be enlisted, set up your camp, drill, enjoy a period type lunch, and more! There are 16 slots available for this program and pre-registration is required. Registration is $25 (paid on day of program) for each child, which includes the meal. The last day for Pre-Registration is April 8th. Assalamu Alykum my fellow brothers. The event that everyone awaits for every year is here again with the title "Reviving Our Roots". Spend the weekend that is full of activities, workshops, fun, and last but not least, DELICIOUS food. We have limited seats in our vans that will transport you to the campsite. We had to turn away many kids last year because we didn't have space for them. You definitely do not want to be that kid this year. RESERVE YOUR SPOT BY 9/4 & SAVE $25. Nature Discoveries (Parent & Child Class) - Maple Hill Farm- Spear Room
Trees, wildlife tracks, birds--the outside world is alive in winter. Take time out with your young children to explore whats going out outside in winter. Each session will include a story to stir up our curiosity, an arts & craft, and a venture outside weather permitting. Create a connection and love of outdoors in your children. If Hollis school is cancelled, well cancel. Siblings $6 per class. 603 465-7787
Indoor Volleyball Camp - Ages 5-8 - 535 West County Road B-2
Intro to volleyball through skill development and small group games. Staff will focus on helping athletes learn the rules of volleyball while working on team play and sportsmanship. Individual skills taught: spiking, serving, setting & hitting. Groups by age and skill level. Staff to camper ratio 10-1. Bring knee pads, a water bottle, snack and a great attitude. This camp will emphasize basic skills, playing as a team, and sportsmanship. Instruction will focus on the fundamentals of basketball in a setting of encouragement and confidence building. Drills to improve skills will be added, and games will focus on team play and tactical understanding. We live in a Global Society and must teach our girls to function accordingly. This is a week filled with authentic global experiences. Girls will learn about different cultures, food, language and traditions. They will participate in our Global Pen Pal program and learn what their international peers experience on a daily basis. Girls will be divided into 2 groups: 7-9 & 10-13. Our capacity is 10 girls per group to ensure an enriching and impactful experience. **Inclusive every day are snacks & meals provided by Wolfgang Pucks Team, supplies, morning yoga on a Helicopter Pad (when not in use by an actual helicopter), afternoon meditation, all activities, guest speakers, workshops and more. 1-610-584-4283
