This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.S.T.E.A.M. into fun with this innovative and dynamic summer camp. Villa-Parke Enrichment Camp creates an exciting learning environment that explores the five core concepts of the S.T.E.A.M. curriculum: science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Each weeks activities are based on a theme. For example, during Space Exploration Week, campers may take a field trip to the Griffith Observatory, base their art projects around the solar system, do astronaut training activities for fitness and learn space themed vocabulary in Spanish. Campers do wacky science experiments, explore technology and mathematics through Lego(R) robotics in the computer lab, complete engineering challenges and attend language lessons including American Sign Language and Spanish. The camp also incorporates traditional camp arts and crafts activities like painting, drawing and beadwork, as well as ceramics instruction and the use of pottery wheels. Daily activities include at least 90 minutes of high-energy physical fitness. Specialized sports instruction is offered for both tennis and golf. Latin Rhythms & Culture - Adat Ari El Day School
Sizzling Music, Latin Dance & Culture Adventure Week We make it easy for our campers to learn the basic dance steps of traditional dances of Columbia, Bolivia, Ecuador, Perú, Chile & more. Campers gain geographical, cultural and artistic awareness of South American countries through exposure to their music, food and dance forms. Additionally campers learn how to move to new rhythms. No prior dance training required. Campers play active & quiet games, create, sing songs, act, dance, cook, play sports and discover the joys of learning Spanish through engaging activities. Ferry to History - Thursday Camp 4-28-16 - PS87 Afterschool Program
Staten Island Ferry trip & Historic Richmond Town Take a trip on one of the citys oldest attractions as we hop onto the Staten Island Ferry, then continue on to Historic Richmond Town to learn about seventeenth-century life and traditions. Kids will travel to South Ferry by MTA Subway, then board a private bus to historic Richmond Town, and come back by bus, ferry, and subway to PS 87.

Saturday Drama Club - Pensacola Little Theatre
This club meets on the second Saturday of each month and covers the fundementals of acting and audition techniques. Students will have the oppurtunity to master the use of their voice and body to create a character. Students will also be able to participate in "mock auditions" ( cold readings, prepared sides, movement, etc. ) to gain more experience for various audition expectations.
