Period 1 - Readers Theater - NBJH Room 219
Each week students will be given a readers theater script to memorize and act out in their group. Then the group will create simple costumes and props to go with the readers theater play. They will perform their skit at the end of each week, creating four readers theater skits during the summer school session. Participation in the class will help students practice fluency, acting skills, and express creativity. 8475043400 x2520
Tennis Champions Camp - EA Tennis Courts
Tennis Champions Camp will mix areas such as stroke technique, shot selection, and court awareness with actual play. Players will receive focused instruction in various areas of tennis, allowing them to develop and improve their overall tennis game. Beginning and Advanced Sewing with Machines - The Evergreen School
Children can spend their week learning to sew or improving their sewing skills. A sewing machine will be provided for each student to use during class. Beginning students will start with a tote bag and pencil pouch. Advanced students will be able to choose what they would like to make from different patterns presented. NOTE: MUST HAVE ATTENDED OUR STANDARD CSI CAMP. Campers MUST bring to camp an inexpensive digital camera. Campers will become advanced forensic scientists for the week! Campers will analyze and gather evidence for a number of fictitious crime scenes, use luminol and UV light to detect the presence of blood, complete a blood splatter analysis, take crime scene photographs, complete a drug and poison analysis and much more! 919-847-7625
