Young campers will be exposed to wonderful childrens literature selections, explore a variety of art materials, create crafts, enjoy sand and water play, sing songs, play games and participate in a balance of indoor and outdoor activities. Campers must be able to manage toileting & dressing needs independently; and have not yet attended kindergarten. Daily nutritious snacks are provided. All campers should wear their swimsuit under their shorts for times of water play and bring a towel for drying off after fun in the sprinkler. Come on out and win items up to $75 for as little as 3 quarters from multiple area vendors. There will be two rounds of the auction and one round of the raffles. Vendors put up their item for bid for 1-3 quarters, you bid that many quarters per paddle you hold up, if you desire that item. If your paddle number gets called, THAT ITEM IS YOURS. Paddles are $3 each or 4 for $10. Raffle tickets are $1 each, 6 for $5 and arm span $15. Shop with a vendor and get a raffle ticket for every $5 spent. For those entering 4-6th grades; As an option for those in the area, the Buckskinner camps may be attended as day camps, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (or later for an additional fee) $25.00 per day or $110.00 per week. Sing! - Palace Education and Performance Center
Working with well known movie and Broadway songs, children will learn the fundamentals of singing. Each class will explore warming up and vocal technique with age appropriate tunes and vocal games. Children will also learn musical theatre performance techniques which will culminate in numbers performed for family and friends at the end of the year performance. Songs will be chosen from the classic Disney songbook through newer Broadway favorites. Past performance pieces have included such favorites as "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman" from Frozen, "Evrybody Wants to Be a Cat" from Disneys The Artistocats and "Choose Me" from The Castaways. Skills learned: fundamentals of vocal technique and placement, breath support, vowel formation, diction, "acting the song" Spring focus-solo performance technique, character voice 512-869-7469 x3

For students entering grade 9 at Waterford Kettering for the school year 2016-2017 Instructor: Coach Shaun Warner Students will receive instruction from the Kettering High School coaching staff. Fundamentals and drills for the odd front attack defense and the Kettering spread motion offense will be taught. A variety of team building activities will also be incorporated. Bring football cleats, gym shoes and a lunch. Camp includes a t-shirt if registered prior to June 1st. Spend time this summer as a CIT with Positive Energy Outdoors and become an outdoor leader. As a mentor and role model for younger campers, youll assist PEO staff with games, team building challenges and camp activities including kayaking, SUP, rock climbing, hiking, draft horses and more. Youll also be trained to help with the maurices portable climbing wall at community events. A mandatory training/orientation session is required on Friday, June 10 from 12 - 4 pm. A commitment of at least one full week of camp is required for participation, and transportation is available from Marshall School (drop off at 8:15 am and pick up at 4:45 each day).
