LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Week 1: Young Scientist/Photography and Fiber Arts - The Childrens Tree Montessori School
Young Scientists (3-6): Daily experiments and take-home project, exploring the human body and our senses and the universe will keep preschoolers busy. Photography & Fiber Arts (6-12): Participants will explore local nature areas with cameras and learn digital editing. Those interested in fiber arts will also learn to knit, crochet and weave. Participants will need to bring their own camera. The wonderfully qualified staff at The Childrens Tree Montessori School have come together to create an interactive summer program to keep your 3-12 yr old child engaged, discovering, and learning. *Activities for children ages 3-12 yrs old *Full day: bring a lunch, sunscreen, bathing suit, and towel *Sessions are Monday –Thursday *Activities will be age appropriate for all children *Must be fully potty trained for preschool program *Highly recommended for new students *Program Hours are 8:30-3:30 or 8:30 -12:00 860-388-3536

Mini-Summer Day Camp - Gallatin, TN
Sumner Teen Center extends our hours to 7:30am-6pm for TWO DAYS ONLY for this special VBS inspired camp. There will be lots and lots of group games indoors and out. We will have planned crafts, as well as music and discussion times. Please bring a sack lunch. We will have snacks and water. Pre-register at ticket link on this event. Teen Film Makers Camp - Round Rock, TX
In this 2 week class series kids will learn the art of film making. The class will work together to take a short script, break it down, cast, schedule and film it. Students will work with Industry professionals and be assigned specific roles/departments. Upon completion, the footage will be handed off to the Editing Class and once completed thru post, each child will get a downloadable link of their final completed movie to share with Family & Friends.

3D Game Design w/ Unity - The Digital Arts Experience
Ever wanted to learn how to make 3D games? Join us in this unique class that will show you how to build an awesome platformer using a free game design program! First students will create all of their game assets in Blender, an animation and modeling program. These assets will then be imported into Unity, a free development tool and game engine. Students will learn the basics of game development & level design and how to use Unity to build a game from the ground up. Summer Farm Camp 2016 - The Painted Pony Farm
This Farm Camp is open to children 5-13 year olds. Each day begins at 9:00 am with special time in the barnyard. Every half an hour we change to a new activity. The day includes music,games, making a snack,crafts and water play. Your day is complete at 2:00 pm. You will receive a camp t-shirt and make memories that will ast a lifetime. 805-525-9820

Teen Adventure Camp - Sequoia Highlands
Teen Adventure Camp starts at 9 a.m. on June 27 at Sequoia Highlands, which is a large camp built around 1970. There is a large kitchen and dining room and a big recreation room with pool tables, pingpong and darts as well as other activities. The accommodations are in long dorms with army cot bunks, one dorm for girls, one for boys. The view of the valley is spectacular, and the charm of this camp is that it is rustic, has lots of room and is close to Kings Canyon National Park. We take trips on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to lakes, rivers, caves and mountains up in the parks, hiking & swimming & exploring the area. We will also learn about the ecology of the area and how climate change is affecting the Parks and the central valley. While at camp we will tie-dye our camp shirts, create our own videos, fish if the pond is full, and simply hang out and enjoy each others company. Campfires are planned for the evenings after dinner.
