Life Teen December Retreat
Great News!!! Life Teen will have our annual December Retreat on Dec 18-20. This is an overnight off campus retreat at the Warren Willis Methodist Camp in Fruitland Park Florida. Myself, the Core, College Core, and Priest will be gearing up for a fantastic, funifilled, Jesus weekend Life Teen style!!! So parents encourage your teens to come to this life changing weekend. An overnight Permission slip is required and the cost is $90. This covers transportation, food, lodging, and camp facilities!! As a challenge to our teens if we get 200 teens on retreat Fr. Brian will shave his beard and I will shave my head. So pass this onto any parent or teen you know. Please pray for this weekend. It's here! The Fall edition of our Teen Power Camp provides a fundamental fitness foundation for any high school student, scaled to anyone from first timers just trying to get into shape to high school athletes looking for structured off-season training or additional in-season work. The Teen Power Program will introduce athletes to bodyweight exercises, gymnastics, powerlifting and basic olympic weightlifting, all while under the close supervision of a certified CrossFit instructor. Our goal is to teach local Teens how to safely and efficiently move their body and external objects (bars, kettlebells, medicine balls, etc) through space, dramatically improving body composition and improving athletic ability in anyone. Our program is designed to increase stamina, strength, power, endurance, coordination, balance, accuracy and flexibility in any person, all while in a team environment filled with positive people. Every workout is scaled to ANY teens capacity. Teens must be at least 13 years of age and emotionally mature. Cost is $119 per month for children of Apogee members and $139 for children of non-Apogee members Class runs 330-430pm every Tuesday and Thursday. Interested? Teen Camp Service Project - Beautify Chinatown! - undefined, undefined
It's that time of year again!This is the first in our series of Teen Camp service projects for those of you who may need financial assistance in order to go to camp. You must complete this project if you're going to need a half or full scholarship. Don't know if you need a scholarship? Well, even if you have an inkling that you might need one, you should be there. But this project is also open to all, so if you just want to help out, join us! The project will involve cleaning out and sprucing up the public planters along Wentworth Avenue and Cermak Road in Chinatown. The project will begin at 9 AM and end around 1 PM. Lunch will then be provided to all who serve, at Ricobene's. Questions, message Kent Lau or Chi Chan. See you there!

6th - 8th Grade | Homework Lab with Ms. Burgess (Jan to March) - Mondays and Wednesdays - Morgan Park Academy
Does your student need help with English Language Arts or Social Studies? Does your student need a quiet place to work on homework with a teacher after school? If so, the MPA Homework Lab is the place for them! The MPA Homework Lab will take place Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:10pm to 4:30pm in Hansen 112. The Lab will offer a quiet place where students can complete homework, ask questions, work on projects, or just study for quizzes and tests. Students will be able to get help with problems, clarification for assignments, or even simple encouragement or supervision while working. April 4, is a make-up day. 773-881-6700 x256

4th grade and Up Overnight - Coweta County Fairgrounds
Girls will stay over that day at camp. Dinner, breakfast and a snack will be provided along with fun filled activites. They will sleep in either tents or in the main building. They will need to bring their regular lunch for Thursday and lunch is provided for the whole camp on Friday. A packing list is located on the camp website. 770-656-6728

Sewing Camps - Sewing Camp - Veterans Memorial - Recreation Center
Learn how to sew this summer! In this camp, you will learn how to use a sewing machine, how to read and layout a pattern, how to cut fabric and how to sew everything together. This class will be fun and very hands on - we will start sewing the first day! We will make pajama pants, a tote bag and a zippered bag. Patterns will be provided by the instructor. Dont have a sewing machine? Rental machines will be available for classroom use. A materials list will be provided one week before camp.
