Summit Football July 25-29 - Summit School
Summit Football July 25-29 Rising 3rd, 4th & 5th 9am-2pm Campers will learn fundamentals to be successful in football. The morning will focus on drills to improve throwing, catching, running, kicking, punting, as well as offensive and defensive positions. The afternoon will be filled with flag football games to put all of the fundamentals together. Campers would be encouraged to bring sneakers, cleats, shorts, hats, water bottles and a t-shirt. Mr. Mihalko was part of two high school championships and one national championship at the University of Notre Dame under Lou Holtz. The winning is not the focus of this camp. All our activities will be conducted with safety in mind. We will focus on fundamentals and fun! (336) 722-2777
Adventure Tennis Camp - Off Site Location
Tennis 3.5 hours per day Adventure 2.5 hours per day During the first part of the day, campers join our regular tennis camp and have lunch. Children will be divided by level and develop tennis strokes, rallying skills, and age appropriate competitive play. Campers learn teamwork, make friends and enjoy fun games like Angry Birds Tennis, Skyball, and Big Kahuna. All camps feature Higgins Bucks, Water Fun Day (no swimming) and the Higgins Bucks Store where children buy prizes on Fridays. In the afternoons we set out on an Adventure! Adventures include: Flyers Day: Build a kite or glider and fly them at Blackies Builders Day: Make a Native American mat or basket, or a model airplane Hiking Days: Along Blackies Shore and up to "Hippie Tree" Board Game Mania ACTIVITY OTHER CATEGORY 3. Chris Dudley Basketball outdoor camp accepts boys and girls between the ages of 10 through 17 who have an interest in basketball and also have type 1 diabetes. We have 45 staff members to oversee our campers diabetes needs and basketball skills to help them strive toward achieving their dreams and goals. Our staff consists of two endocrinologists, day and night nurses, a trained dietitian, sixteen day/night counselors, eleven coaches and other important staff to oversee camp. Because we are limiting the camp to 75 participants, campers will receive a lot of individual attention to improve their game, achieve their goals and teach them how to manage their diabetes while playing an intensive sport. 5033490073.0
