The Satellite Prospect Camp offers boys, currently enrolled in 9th-12th grade, a positive developmental soccer environment. This camp will take place on the beautiful campus of Northfield Mount Hermon School in Gill, MA. This location provides the opportunity for prospective student-athletes in the Northeast region to train and be evaluated by the University of Michigan soccer staff. Field Players and goalkeepers will work directly with the University of Michigan mens soccer staff to experience the daily training environment of the University of Michigan mens soccer program. The camp schedule will consist of on the field training, small sided and larger sided games, strength and conditioning and lectures regarding the recruiting process with academic and athletic components. It's a mystery of Shakespearean proportions as this year’s campers create a whodunit from the ground up using Shakespearean characters, plots, intrigue, dialogue, and combat. Each camper will get to choose a Shakespearean character to play, agree on a Shakespearean murder victim, and help write and perform an original play using Shakespearean themes. Campers will learn about the plays, acting, and stage combat in this week-long experience that culminates in a live performance! SETSCO will provide everything except underwear, shoes, and lunch. Teen Community Emergency Response Team Camp - Peachtree City, GA
The Peachtree City Police Department will be hosting a Teen Community Emergency Response Team (TEEN CERT) camp beginning June 13th, 2016. The classes will be held Monday through Friday of that week ending on June 17th. The classes will start at 0800 and end at 1230 each day. The camp will be held in the training room at the Police Station. The TEEN CERT Program educates young adults about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Prospective candidates must be between 13 and 17 years of age at the time of registration and a resident of Georgia. Applicants will be required to complete an enrollment form and applicable waivers. The application and waivers must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. A local check will be conducted to determine the background of the participants as a pre-condition to acceptance into the program. This a basketball camp for kids grades 4 - 8 emphasizing FAITH, FUN AND FUNDAMENTALS. Campers will be organized into groups and teams according to age level and ability in order to provide a positive learning experience. Campers will learn that the quest to develop as a basketball player "mirrors" the quest to develop as a Christian. Each day will begin and end with prayer. The themes for each day applying to both basketball and the Christian Life will be commitment, practice, growth and teamwork. Space is limited to 48 campers and will be filled on a first come first serve basis. EACH CAMPER MUST BRING A PACKED LUNCH EVERY DAY.
