LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Build-A-Bear - Old Trail School
Campers will visit the local Build-A-Bear store on Monday to create their own teddy bears. The rest of the week will be spent creating accessories and other items that go along with their individual bears. Campers will spend quality time with popular Old Trail teachers and friends incorporating stories and drama, arts and crafts, songs and games, social studies and research, science and exploration, Math, and Language arts into all their explorations. Emphasis on teamwork, celebration of individual growth and creativity will make this camp exciting and memorable. Campers should wear comfortable play clothes and be ready to go, go, go! Movement & Art Camp - Friendswood, TX
Kid Creations & Bay Area Pilates are teaming up for another 3-hour Movement & Art Camp. Kids will have FUN learning the benefits of pilates in a choreographed-for-kids pilates class for one hour and then will be escorted down the sidewalk to Kid Creations for two hours of arts and crafts. Snacks will be provided. Workshops can be attended separately. The cost is $45 for both. To come to Kid Creations alone from 1:00-3:00pm, the cost is $30. Rise Up Florida High School Retreat November 6-8, 2015 Word of Life Retreat Center Hudson, Florida Join us as we welcome the band Lost & Found to join us for Rise Up Florida as one of their last stops on their farewell tour. This event is for both those who attended the Gathering and for those who were not able to attend. It will equip and re-ignite those who were at the Gathering to "bring the Gathering home" and to provide a feel of the Gathering to those who were not able to be there. Utilizing some of the resources, video and music from the Gathering and adding in some of our own, we will encourage youth to examine their story and the story of their community and congregation and to explore how God might be calling them to tell His story and affect change where they see injustice.
