My son really enjoyed Camp Motorsport! He was able to drive a real race car and it was very similar to one that the real race car drivers use. It was sized just right for him. He was able to drive dirt karts, go carts and half scale race cars. The other activities he experienced were marine biology, which he absolutely loved, art, soccer, basketball and lot of swimming. SummerART Camp Full Day Studio Art Program 9:30am to 5pm Studio Art with Exploring Pottery Elective Session III: July 25 to August 5 Studio Art Camp Farm to Easel: Animals of the Northeast Celebrate the wonder of summer by exploring the animals and plants that live, blossom, and grow all around us. This session will explore our regions animals and plant life. From the farms to the forest, and birdhouses to beaches, we will be inspired by the colors, shapes, and sound of the flora and fauna that are local to our area. Weather permitting, campers will explore nature on MAMs grounds and at Van Vleck House and Gardens. We will create works of two and three dimensional art in a variety of media inspired by our observations and imaginations! Interested in learning the ropes of being in a musical or maybe youre a theater veteran and just cant get enough of the stage? Whatever your experience come join us for our mini production camps this summer. Session I explores songs and dances from the Oz stories of musical theater: The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz, and Wicked. Session II explores songs & scenes from Shrek Jr. Camp focuses on putting the production together as well as healthy vocal/singing production with dance combinations and character development while learning to seamlessly combine these disciplines. Paddle and explore Little Narragansett Bay during the best months of the year. Kayak to estuaries, coves, islands, and other places where power boats are not able to go. Snorkel the warm waters of the harbor and the bay, while learning about local ecosystems and the species that inhabit them. Challenge your snorkeling skills by learning to free dive, using NESS fins. No previous kayaking experience is necessary, but an interest in the ocean, snorkeling, and kayaking is a must for this adventure week. Includes: snorkeling, kayaking & free diving 860-535-9362
