[] This summer, for our first session of the day, the ALL NEW "Power of Drawing!" summer classes will take you on adventures to places, spaces, and other worlds with specialized drawing workshops. First, we zoom to the farthest reaches of the galaxy with our new friend, Sketch, and his colorful cast of cartoon friends! From astronauts in jetpacks to out-of- this-world alien lifeforms, our students will learn how to compose well-drawn cartoon figures in dynamic poses. Then we tackle a world of monsters, creatures, and creeps - from furry to scaly! For our adventure in Color and Design, each student will create a personalized Japanese kimono, an Escher-like graphic, or a study in primitive art. For the last adventure of the day, all artists will choose either still life drawing or portraiture as a study in technique. We will explore fine art (realistic, stylized, and abstract), graphic design, and cartooning using pastels, colored pencils, and professional marker techniques that will enhance ones analytical and perceptual drawing skills! Though surviving the pressures and conflicts in our lives can be a tough and painful process, we can take comfort in the fact that like a piece of coal, we are being turned into precious diamonds for God's purpose. And in a culture that increasingly pushes Christians to the outskirts, it can be like being stranded on an island. But since the begining us Christians have been called to be set apart, "in the world but not of the world", and we know that through the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, that we can more than just meely survive, but we can strive! Join us this year in taking a stand on the principles and truths that the Word of God gives us, stepping up to live out our calling and purpose and learning how to transition from being Survivors to becomeing more than conquerors!! Hope to see you there!!

Playing in a state-of-the-art field house, with four basketball courts, basketball camp at Loyola is designed to improve the fundamental offensive and defensive skills of each player in a fun, yet competitive setting. The camp is geared to improve the skills of the beginning player and the more advanced player. There are four basic goals of the camp: 1. Each camper has an enjoyable experience 2. Each camper loves the game more by the end of the week 3. Each camper improves his/her skills 4. Each camper learns how to continue that improvement after the camp. During the camp day, campers will participate in station sessions with work on fundamentals, 2 camp contests, 2 games, a shooting session, and 1 film or pool session. Loyolas varsity head coach, Josh Davalli, leads these camps. He was an all league player in the Baltimore Catholic League and played Division I basketball at Towson University.
