Summer Teen Camp - Brevard, NC
This summer we will be going to camp on week 10. That will be August 3rd – 8th. The evangelist will be Tom Farrell. Every teen and junior is invited to join us for summer camp. Teen campers must be 12 years old by September 1, 2015 and junior campers must be at least 9 years old by September 1, 2015. Recommended for children ages 7-11 years old. Have you ever made your own playdough, slime, or ice cream? Join us for this reactive workshop where we look at chemistry with ingredients found in most kitchens. Participants are guaranteed to get their hands messy as aspiring chemists combine, pour, and agitate various mixtures. Recipes for some of our creations will be provided. Creating on Canvas - Spring Has Sprung - Ballenger Creek Elementary School (Title 1)
5 Week Session Your artist will create five individual canvas paintings! We will explore themes such as bugs, flowers, and the beach all while learning acrylic painting techniques. Aprons will be provided, but please be aware that our artist quality paint does stain. NOTES: 1. Please pack a small PEANUT FREE snack for your child. We will have a 15 min snack break before class starts. 2. After school, students will be dismissed via announcements to the designated area or classroom. For students entering grades 9 and up. Projects will include some major clean-up work, such as clearing brush and building fire lines, fix-up jobs, wood cutting, simple construction and other needed repairs or improvements to camp facilities and grounds. Please bring suitable work gear such as heavy-duty boots or shoes, durable clothing, gloves and rain gear. Project campers must provide their own bedding. Cavalier Battalion Airsoft - 3 weeks - Airsoft @ The Heights
Experience airsoft Heights style! Acres of woods, forts, and airsoft battles: a recipe for a one of a kind camp experience. Each day the boys will be engaged in a different themed airsoft battle/game, while learning team building and leadership skills. At the start of camp the boys will be divided into brigades, these will be their brothers in arms for the remainder of the week. The brigades first challenge will be to take and pass a gun safety course, where the boys will learn how to properly and safely handle an airsoft weapon. After that the fun begins. The boys will be building their own fortifications that they will be defending each day. Battles will include: elimination, capture the flag, lone survivor among others. Each brigade will also compete in airsoft challenge games which include marksmanship, quick draw, target discernment, just to name a few. Throughout the week the boys will likewise learn about some of the greatest battles and military heroes of our time. Cost includes 5,000 rounds of ammunition.
