I was excited to find this camp for my 12 year old daughter. She is naturally a quiet child, but she loves horses. This camp helped her stretch outside her comfort zone as she socialized with other children who also shared her love of horses. She couldn’t stop telling us how she explored the prairie on horseback. Kids ages 5-12 will enjoy weaving with natural and recycled materials, and felting with naturally dyed alpaca fleece. Featuring special guest Phylleri Ball of Three Sisters Weaving. Kids will love spending this beautiful Fall day in the mountains of Nederland, outside of Boulder and Denver. Junior Soccer Shots Girls/Boys - Sanford Day Camp
Soccer camp will be held under the directions of Soccer Shots™, a leader in youth soccer development in the DE and PA area under the direction of C.C. Colasante. CC was an all-state player for Salesianum, All-American while playing at LaSalle, and also played professionally for the Philadelphia Kixx. Players will be taught the fundamentals of shooting and passing. Mornings will consist of skill sessions and afternoons will be occupied with competitive games and scrimmages. Teamwork around the net will be emphasized. ------------- LOCATION: Sanford School. Please drop your child off at the Sports Center at 8:45 a.m. Pick up will be in the same location at 11:45 a.m. unless your child is registered for day camp (1/2 day) in which case they will be escorted to lunch and then to day camp for the afternoon. ------------ RAINY DAYS: Please wear sneakers. Camp held indoors ------------ WHAT TO BRING: Light-weight, loose fitting shirts, shorts, socks and sneakers or soccer shoes. Water Bottle Bathing suit and towel for free swim in the afternoon. The camp will explore subjects such as behavior, biology, science of flight, birds? jobs in nature, diet, husbandry, and the importance of conservation and biodiversity. Under close adult supervision there will be hands on interaction with real, live birds. Each day one or two different birds will visit camp. Camp will include education, scrapbook making, crafts, feedings and creative play. Please send a healthy snack with your child each day.
