*NEW Robot for 2016* Great Scott! We need you to control our robots before they get the upper hand and take over the world! In this camp you will learn about robotic control and also program the amazing Parallax ?Scribbler 2? robot with its Graphical User Interface programming language. A series of increasing challenges are designed to earn you mastery of this sinister mechanical menace! If you are victorious and there is time you will employ light sensors and program flags to follow lines, avoid obstacles and navigate mazes. Get ready to fire up your skills of deductive reasoning and problem solving. By the end you?ll be convinced that you have a new super-power! Participants must be able to swim 50 yards of front crawl as well as 50 yards of breaststroke in good form. American Red Cross Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors will lead participants through two water sessions per day which will include group lectures on Aquatics Safety as well as introductions to Aquatic Sports. On the last day, participants will have the opportunity to use our giant inflatables and will take part in a Junior Lifeguarding Competition. Mua Mi Villagers are active participants in their program planning, which includes advanced outdoor skills, waterfront skills, as well as advanced archery and the climbing wall.
