Kid's Summer Camp: Texas Week *Ages 7-13 - Sherman, TX
Campers, ages 7-13, will explore Texas all week through paintings and other related activities. They will paint a 16x20 painting each day M-Th, and work on a 24x36 self portrait through the week. The week will end with an art show Friday evening from 5-6pm. Camp: Monday- Friday, 1pm-4pm Art show: Friday 5-6pm Please sign up on "Kid's Camp" icon listed on the Monday of this week.

Good Afternoon, It's time to get ready for camp. Below, please see a short version (for those in a hurry) and a longer version (for the detail people) of what you need to know. Short Version Camp is the MOST IMPORTANT thing we do every year. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE all students to attend. We're shooting for June 20 - 24. Camp Registration will not be on-line this year. Paper Forms will be available soon. Students must reserve their spot now by going on-line to 3dnwa.com and then paying a $75 deposit in person or on-line at trinitynwa.com Reservations must be made (and deposits paid) by January 24th Deposit Amount: $75 Total Amount: $175 (Balance due on June 5th) See me with any questions/concerns. How can the church be a resource that gives campers confidence and courage? Campers will explore how they themselves are a part of the Church and what that means about how we relate to one another and the world. Discover skills of the ancient scout, nearly lost to history, if it weren’t for a handful of people who kept these practices alive. We’re a staff who has studied under scouts only once removed from the likes of Baden-Powell and Geronimo. A scout must live in honor, balance and harmony with the earth in order to blend with nature and move over any terrain like a shadow. There’s also an aspect of martial arts in this camp, using tricks of mind-over-matter to help us accomplish feats that seem impossible. Get out of the Heat for One Day to Serve Teen Moms at Younglives Camp
Spa Day is an annual event at YoungLives Camp for Teen Moms and Babies. For many of these girls, this will be the first time they are cared for in this manner, and we need a lot of help to make it happen! Volunteers are needed from 10:30-2:30 & lunch will be provided. No experience necessary. Once you get there, we will assign you to a station, so note your special skills or area you'd like to help: Facial Massage Body scrub kit creating Nails What a great opportuity to get out of the heat, and enjoy the beautiful property of Lost Canyon while serving young moms. We are asking you to RSVP through this event page, so we have a general idea of how many people we will have. Thank you! Skyhawks Minihawk Camp This multi-sport program gives children a positive first step into athletics. Baseball, basketball and soccer are taught in a safe, structured environment with lots of encouragement and a big focus on fun. Our Mini-Hawk games and activities were designed to allow campers to explore balance, movement, hand/eye coordination, and skill development at their own pace. Skyhawks staff are trained to handle the specific needs of young athletes. Sport Specific Requirements: All participants receive a t-shirt, water bottle and a merit award. The participant-to-coach ratio is approximately 8:1. Participants should wear appropriate clothing and running shoes, bring two snacks and a water bottle. Willows Transitional Toddler Program provides a gentle opportunity to gain independence and practice preschool rhythms. The morning includes welcome time, story circle and songs. Children will make homemade bread daily, as well as prepare a fresh fruit snack.
