Education WeDo™ Robotics For campers who love to build and then take their models to the next level. New from Lego Education and Renaissance. Our future engineers work on Lego robotics kits. Each builder has his or her own kit! Interactive building and programming models is the newest educational frontier for kids that love building. Kids build a series of models such as an alligator, lion, helicopter, soccer player and more. Builders work together to build and program their model to move and make sounds. LEGO We-Do Robot Construction The LEGO® Education WeDo introduces young students to robotics when combined with the LEGO Education WeDo Software v.1.2 and various Activity Packs. Students will be able to build LEGO models featuring working motors and sensors; program their models; and explore a series of cross-curricular, theme-based activities while developing their skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics as well as language, literacy, and social studies. Junior Minecrafters - BASIS Independent Silicon Valley
Partnering with Techsplosion here at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley, come explore the world of Minecraft with us! Junior Minecrafters will have tons of fun as they learn the basics of the world famous game. Well learn about the different game modes, how to craft some crazy contraptions, and even build an awesome house together! In between sessions of computer time, well do other fun Minecraft stuff like papercraft, a camp-made costume party, outdoor games, and on Friday, a Minecraft potluck party! Students will have short breaks for outdoor play time and lunchtime (lunch is not included). 408-291-0907
University of Georgia Mens Tennis - University of Georgia Mens Tennis
The Georgia Bulldog Tennis Camp will provide instruction for every level of play. For the beginner, basic fundamentals and stroke production will be emphasized. For the intermediate players, refinement of the fundamentals--footwork, grips, strokes and strategy will be stressed. The advanced players will be trained at the same intensity level that we train our Bulldog college players. Along with match play and conditioning, the emphasis is concentrated in challenging the campers regardless of their level of play. Camps are open to any/all entrants (limited only by number and age, grade level, and/or gender). Step Into the Story - Session III - Neverland - Ohlook Performing Arts Center
Great childrens books serve as launching pads for dramatic adventures. So jump into some of the most awesome stories ever told to become the characters, then act out your favorite parts. Reimagine tales through movement, music, and art creation. Session III focuses on Neverland and the adventures of Peter Pan. Tiger Lily and the Lost Boys of Neverland need to outsmart Captain Hook to escape his clutches. Students will create costumes, sing a song, and spin their best stories to finish their adventure.
