I was excited to find this camp for my 12 year old daughter. She is naturally a quiet child, but she loves horses. This camp helped her stretch outside her comfort zone as she socialized with other children who also shared her love of horses. She couldn’t stop telling us how she explored the prairie on horseback. Baseball - Pre Tryout Camp - Onalaska High School
Havent picked up a ball or bat yet to get ready for the baseball season? Heres your opportunity to get started. Onalaska High School Head Varsity Baseball coach, Larry Swiggum, and his players will run this pre - tryout camp. The camp will help players get ready for the upcoming park and rec summer baseball tryouts. Throwing, fielding, hitting, and pitching are some of the skills to be covered. Pre-registration is required!! Camp Dates and Times: Wednesday, April 6 - 6:00-8:00pm and Saturday, April 9 - 4:00-6:30pm Location: Onalaska High School Varsity Baseball Field, Off of Riders Club Rd (may be moved into Onalaska High School Fieldhouse if weather is bad). Arts in the Park - Norwood Local Park
You will create lots of cool artwork inspired by the great outdoors in this beautiful setting. Artwork may include paper mache, mobiles, sculptures from natural and recycled materials, mosaics, painting in the style of famous artists, collage and lots more! Play lots of games, sports and explore the park. On Wed campers walk to the Bethesda pool adjacent to the park. Campers must pass a swimming test or stay in the shallow end. Bring a bag lunch. There will be a $25 dollar material fee due the first day.
