Summer Camp - Cloverdale, OR
All Pack Event. Enjoy the wonderful Oregon Coast while working on your rank advancement and our Summertime Pack Award. Exact timing is TBD, but the dates are reserved. I have reserved 30 scout and 10 adults slots. We have time to adjust, but the sooner we get this nailed down the better. I will have a sign up sheet for the next Pack/Den Meeting next Thursday for all those interested in going. There is a fee for this $243/Scout and $115/Adult. We do get a free adult admission for every 6 Scouts that go. At the next Committee Meeting we will discuss how we want to ration that out, either by need, or reduce everyone's cost equally, etc.

Boys Sports Camp with Coach Tom Myran - Germantown Friends School
The focus of Boys Sports Camp is on learning and competing in team sports, including basketball, soccer, baseball, flag football, floor hockey, and volleyball. In addition, campers also will take part in a variety of traditional games such as dodge and whiffle ball as well as individual sports such as tennis, wrestling, and track and field. Team-building, self-awareness and interpersonal skills will also be a focus. Our passionate and professional coaching team under the leadership of GFS Boys Varsity Track Coach Tom Myran will help participants become more skillful and confident athletes. Even more importantly, campers will have a terrific time making new friends and bonding with their upper school athlete-counselors whose job it is to reinforce the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and doing ones best on a daily basis. Santa Monica Sports Experience for Boys and Girls ages 8-14: A unique sports camp for kids who enjoy concentrating their energy on sports activities, action-packed tournaments and innovative organized games. Our goal is to stimulate a love for sports in youth of all athletic abilities. Jr. Choir - Valle Verde Elementary
Classroom: E-2 Instructor: Rick Abbott (No class on March 31 or April 28. Final performance May 12th) This enrichment class is taught by Mr. Abbott. Jr. Choir is a performing choir for 2nd and 3rd graders. We are performing the choral concert STAR MAKER – the TV Show. The songs are delightful! Ive done this concert many times because the kids love the music. The students will perform in two concerts: a daytime assembly and a formal night concert in the MUR. For 3rd graders, there are opportunities, by audition, for solos, small group numbers, and narrator parts. Proper solo vocal technique, as well as ensemble vocal technique are taught. Make new friends; develop confidence while performing onstage for an audience. The songs are upbeat and lots of fun!
