We will play with poetry, prose and dialogue - working independently and in small groups and/or partners. We will explore the arboretum, campus and downtown locations for nature, art and culture inspired writing. Folsom Teen Bible Boot Camp 2016 - Folsom, CA
The church of Christ in Folsom, California will be hosting a free Bible study for teenagers and college students during the weekend of April 15-17, 2016. We usually hold this annual Bible study on the third weekend in April (except when Easter falls on that weekend, and then another April weekend is selected). During this weekend, participants will attend a Friday night singing and a Bible study on Saturday morning and afternoon. The age group for visitors at this event is current high school students (9th to 12th grades) and college-aged young people. Participants are encouraged to come Friday night and stay through Sunday morning services at the Folsom church of Christ. Members of the church are willing to open their homes on Friday and Saturday for lodging, and overnight arrangements will be organized by grade level and gender. If you would like to attend, please complete the online registration form by Saturday, April 9th at: http://folsom.cierecloud.com/forum/about/ or on the Folsom congregation’s website. Please feel free to forward this to others in your congregation, grandchildren, friends, etc. and have their young people join us.

Music will be provided by the awesome cover band, Greyduck with Chelsea Csargo on the vocals who is a former camper, staff member, and current volunteer. This event is a special night to donate money to future campers. Let's help provide kids with the opportunity to experience the magic of the Hodag while building memories they will carry throughout their lifetime! Everyone is welcome... So bring your friends! P.S. This program provides a unique experience for participants with varying skill levels to participate in recreation and socialization. A wide variety of fun activities including swimming, bowling, golf, organized games, special events, and arts and crafts. This program offers a 5 to 1 participant-staff ratio. Personal Care Attendants are encouraged to participate with any youth needing one-on-one attention. Any participant attending summer school has the opportunity to be dropped off by the school bus at the program location. Please indicate you would like this service when you enroll for camp. Campers will get inspiration from Picasso and Jackson Pollock as they paint and draw their own creative masterpieces. 2016 Leadership Track Program (Ages 15-17) - James Camp @ Mingus Springs
Camp Quest Arizona is a place for fun, friends, and freethought for kids ages 8-17. Our camp provides a traditional sleepaway summer camp experience with a wide range of activities such sports, crafts, games, fishing and campfires*. In addition to our traditional summer camp activities, Camp Quest Arizona offers educational activities focused on critical thinking, ethics, scientific inquiry, philosophy, and comparative religion. Camp Quest Arizona is open to all children and teenagers within the age range, but it is particularly geared towards building a community for children from atheist, agnostic, humanist and other freethinking families. Our goal is to provide a place where children can explore their developing worldviews, ask questions, and make friends in an environment that is supportive of critical thinking and skepticism. Campers aged 8-14 participate in our standard camp program. Campers agent 15-17 participate in the Leadership Track (LT) - a program designed to cultivate leadership skills.
