Four Elements Kid's Camp - Naples, FL
Children 5 to 12 years are invited to one or both days of our half-day camps. Our activities will reflect each of these four elements, and be predominantly outside, so dress for comfort! We’ll explore air and fire on Thursday, learning about the power of air currents and our biggest fireball, the sun. On Friday, special guest Valerie Flanigan from Driftwood Garden Center will help us make and/or decorate stepping stones for our garden (earth), then we move to the element of water, where we create an ocean in a bottle and play with watercolor magic. We end with Tai Chi by Elena Roubicek! Registration is required and each session is limited to 10 participants so we can give our best to each child. All materials are provided, including a snack. Weymouth Youth Track Club will provide a safe, fun, and exciting experience for both beginners and returners to the sport of track and field. 5th - 9th grade girls: Biology Explorers - Saint Marys School
Biology Explorers is an exciting week of applied science for middle school grade girls. From microorganisms to the biosphere, campers learn about many of the questions, techniques, and equipment scientists use to study the different levels of life. Each morning, campers see demonstrations and perform experiments in the biology labs at Saint Marys School. In the afternoon, campers travel to a variety of local scientific points of interest to watch professional scientists at work. Past field trips have included the Phytotron and Solar House at NCSU, the Sharon Harris Plant, and the Duke Lemur Center. Katie Floyd is an Instructor of Science at Saint Marys School. Ms. Floyd earned her B.A. from Hollins College and her M. S. from Emory University. She taught for ten years at Wesleyan College in Macon, GA where, in addition to teaching 14 different courses, she taught the science component of Spectacles, a residential summer camp for middle school girls. Ms. Floyd has been teaching at Saint Marys for sixteen years and has served as the director of Biology Explorers for over ten years. 9194244028.0

Camp:Summer Playground-Caldwell Park 2016 - Concord Parks and Recreation
This camp is for 6-10 year olds. Camp operates June 20 through August 12 from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The program is geared to motivate and stimulate the participants willingness to learn through field trips and age appropriate activities and much more! Fee includes most trips and program offerings. Pre-registration is required. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Registration for 2015 RETURNERS will be Wed 1/13/16 thru Midnight 1/17/2016 by ONLINE reg and from 8:00 a.m.-5:00pm by WALK-IN until Friday 1/15/16. Registration for NEW Campers that are CITY OF CONCORD RESIDENTS , (residing in city limits of Concord) will begin on Wed 1/20/16 thru Midnight 1/24/16 by ONLINE and from 8:00am-5:00pm by WALK-IN until 1/22/16. Registration opens to the Public Wed 2/3/16 at 8:00am by both online and walk-in registration. Customer service may not be available after 5:00 p.m. $100.00 deposit is due at registration with balance due by June 3. No refunds after 6/3/16. Any past due balances must be paid prior to or at time of registration. Fees include most trips and program offerings.
