SEASIDE DAY CAMP A local favorite for many years, Seaside Day Camp is held at the newly renovated Scout House at Glen Park, Cardiff ?by-the-Sea. Have your child experience the local wonder of the great outdoors through Encinitas parks, trails, ocean and wild life. Our caring and experienced camp staff share the goal of providing a fun and safe environment that helps nurture the social, physical, educational and emotional wellbeing of each child. Campers will enjoy a healthy daily snack and a weekly field trip in addition to all the fun activities that are offered throughout the week. Boys & Girls Soccer Camp (Day) - Soccer
Residential/Commuter Camp – Designed for HS aged athletes with a focus on the individuals developmental needs while also experiencing tactical and technical training based around the varied systems of play used at the HS and College level. We also offer a specialized program built into the camp for HS Varsity and JV teams that choose to do specific team training as well as compete in the evening game portion as a team against other HS teams and the groups formed from individual campers. College soccer players will be assisting in camp coaching, but College or above level coaches will be in charge of each group. Camp also includes pool time and other fun activities. 717-948-6744

Valentines Make-In - University City Arts League
Its a Make-In, Baby! Adults and kids of all ages can drop in and make as many valentines as you like with plenty of paper, doilies, and sparkly glitter glue! Pay what you wish in advance or at the door. Basic "scratch-foam" printing is available for younger children (under 10) and all drop-in participants. Want to learn to cut a rubber block to make a series of printed cards? Pre-registration ( at any price level) is required for this option, and is for ages 10+ only. Children 13 and under must be with an adult. Teens age 14 and up can attend on their own, with pre-registration. 215-382-7811

Chess Camp, Afternoon - Francis W Parker
Chess Wizards introduces students to the magical world of chess. Campers learn how to play and master chess techniques from our renowned Chess Wizards. They learn cool chess openings, midgame tactics (including forks, pins, discovered attacks and more) and endgames concepts. The camp caters to all levels of chess players, and participants are divided into Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Wizards. All participants receive a Chess Wizards t-shirt and earn a trophy. Full-day campers receive a chess board their friends can autograph! This class is offered by Chess Wizards (chesswizards.com). Chess campers must bring their own peanut-free bag lunches and drinks.
