I am so honored that I have have been asked and I look forward to Empowering our Leaders of Tomorrow with the Encouraging of Words of God. In addition, to utilizing my life experiences, professional knowledge and expertise to inform participants of what is necessary to achieve their goals and how to become successful adults. It is my desire that youth will be able to reach inside of themselves to identify those strengths that will be the driving forces for their futures. So, on June 27, 2016 come out and help us..... Sew Cute (AM) - MA Lower School
This class is designed for beginners to sewing. Students will learn how to use the sewing machine and hand stitch, along with how to cut, safety pin, and baste fabric. Sewing teaches hand and eye coordination, as well as hand dexterity. The projects are fun and simple. To start our sewing tool collection, the first project we will complete is a pincushion. Junior Firefighters - Kids Discovery Museum
KiDiMu crew to the rescue! Join Our Towns Fire Department to put out imaginary fires and get ready for real life emergencies. Get tips from the Bainbridge Island Fire Department team. Visit the Bainbridge Island Police Department and learn how the two crews often work together. From exploring stories, making emergency plans and first aid kits to training their bodies through obstacle courses and games, campers will get a taste of firefighters daily adventures. Baseball Camp A - Warner Park Baseball Complex
The basic design of the CDS Baseball camp is to help young baseball players develop a fundamental baseball skill set and learn tactical elements of the game. The goal of the camp is to equip campers with the skills to compete at a high level of play. The camp will be directed by David Houseton, CDS Varsity Baseball Head Coach at Covenant Day School. He will be assisted by his coaching staff as well as former and returning Covenant Day baseball players.
