Kids In The Arts Fall Camp - Knoxville, TN
A kids in the arts camp with various teachers teaching their loves in art, dance, story and performance. Activities included dance, Improv games, sculpture, dream catcher making, watercolor, painting, zen doodle, stained "glass", paper making, poetry, storytelling and more. Artist teachers include Mimi Eichholz, Jennifer White, Felecia Outsey, Kristi Gilleon, Karl Hess, Claudio Barrientos, Cynthia Baglir and Noelle Harb. On Friday we will take a field trip to Narrow Ridge Eath Literacy Center. Chaperons are welcome as wellas drivers to transport kids! Camp is $200. Scholarships are available too so ask about that. Chess Academy during camp week #3: June 27 - July 1 - Germantown Friends School
National-championship coach Ross Colby will be offering two weeks of intensive chess instruction at Germantown Friends School. Ross has either played on or coached teams that have won national championships in Arizona, North Carolina, & Pennsylvania! Players at this years camp will participate in intensive strategy sessions, tournament games, daily award ceremonies, simultaneous exhibitions, and a speed tournament. At the end of the five-day camp, participants will enjoy a pizza fest and final awards ceremony. Bus transportation is available to and from Center City for $100 provided 17 campers sign-up on or before June 1 for transportation during the week of June 27 - July 1. 215-951-2384
