This summer, give your children four days at Windrush Farm. It is an outdoor experience your child will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Children will learn about ranch animals and how to take care of them. They will meet chickens, goats, sheep, cows, llamas, and our favorite dogs. They collect eggs from the chickens and work in the vegetable gardens, learning where their food comes from besides the grocery store. Exploring in the pond, crafting farm art, working with wool, and making barn shaking music are a few of the activities your children take part in. On Thursday we will celebrate the work we have done with a pizza party in the wood-burning outdoor oven. 707 364-9929

Kingwood Christian Fellowship's Teen Camp 2015 is open to all high school teens (grades 9-12). Cost of camp is $35.00 if you pre-register by August 15 or $40.00 if you register after August 15. 4-H Teen Voices Retreat - New Windsor, IL
Teens ages 13 to 18 are invited to join Rock Island County 4-H for an interactive leadership retreat on Saturday, August 29 at Camp Summit in New Windsor. Teens will get to participate in team-building exercises, go zip-lining and other outdoor activities as well as give their input into ideas they would like to see for youth programs in the local community. Teens will learn ways they can use their interests and skills to develop their leadership, citizenship, presentation and organization skills by becoming in involved in the various 4-H Teen programs offered in Rock Island County.

We will be distributing Blessing bags to the less fortunate at Fairmount Park in Riverside California. What would the Blessing Bags consist of? - Hygiene Products (no mouthwash) - Water Bottle - First Aid materials (no sharp objects) - Baby wipes - Wash cloth - Chapstick - Sunscreen - Nonperishable food items Who is responsible for providing blessing bags? Each student is encouraged to bring a blessing bag with them. You can trade in your bag for a Mercy Chronicles t-shirt on Friday night or Saturday morning before we head to the Park. Transportation: There will be a bus available for transportation to the park. Spaces will be available to those who pre-register first. This 24 hour event will be the sole source of scholarships for the 2016 camps.
