Camp Grow weaves nature activities and games into the beauty of a public garden. A day at Camp Grow can include gardening, hikes, games, nature activities, storytelling, arts & crafts, music, yoga, and much more! Camp is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Campers bring their own lunches/beverages each day. The camp fee for SPROUTS is $180 for residents of NOVA Parks jurisdictions (cities of Fairfax, Alexandria, Falls Church, and counties of Fairfax, Loudoun, and Arlington) and $200 for nonresidents. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sprouts are campers who will enter kindergarden, first grade, and second grade in the Fall. The Birchmont Fun Fest
They call is the 'Birchmont Experience' on their website. I call it the Birchmont Fun Fest because that's just what our two kids went through. Although they are only a year apart you would think they grew up in separate cities. What amazed me is how close they became. That was worth the price of admission! Join us for the 2016 Northwestern Boys Soccer Academy End-of-Summer Camp! Get your last chance to enjoy camp before the Fall season begins. Participants will have the opportunity to sharpen their soccer skills with technical training, compete in small sided games, and enjoy the North Shore Lakefront for Beach Soccer an hour every day! Under the supervision of Northwestern University Mens Soccer Staff and Coerver Certified coaches, your young soccer player is sure to have a great time while developing his ability on the field. An in-depth manuscript Bible study of Abrahams life in the book of Genesis. Picks up where Genesis leaves off. This track is designed for seniors who are graduating in May, and as such, is a shortened week of camp. Exact schedule is determined around participants graduation dates, but typically runs Mon-Friday. The teacher for the week will email everyone signed up after consulting your campus staff regarding the best time for seniors from each school to attend. Prerequisites: none. 609-947-9312
Costa Rican Jungle Animals Week 1 - Adat Ari El Day School
Explore the Majesty of Costa Ricas Jungle Animals & Learn Spanish Campers explore the dynamic jungle of Costa Rica. The colorful and intriguing animals are extraordinary and will magically ‘transport campers to the ‘jungle where it is super fun to speak Spanish. During this week campers get to build a large scale ‘time travel machine out of recyclable materials. Campers play active & quiet games, create, sing songs, act, dance, cook, play sports, and discover the joys of learning Spanish through various activities. Theme vocabulary includes colors, verbs, nouns, adjectives all about these animals and their unique features. CELEBRATION DAY: WEDNESDAY (always optional)- Go Wild Day Come to camp dressed in your favorite animal prints or animal tees. During camp choice time choose your favorite wild animal look for our special face paint activity! Notes: There may be options for arranging late pick up the same day.
