Youth 12 years old through high school, come and join us for a night of wonderful music with Jeremy Camp, a Christian musician and songwriter. Tickets are about $17 if you buy them on your own The Bdecan Ministry Team will be purchasing up to 10 tickets for this concert, and you can come with us for free. Here's the thing, we need you to come to Youth Group both Sunday November 15th and Sunday November 22nd to sign up to come. First 10 to sign up will get to come for free. 10 weeks (Jun 1st - Aug 7th) of traditional styled camp full day (8am-5pm) that has provided children with a safe and fun summer for over 50 years. Youth Rugby is the fastest growing sport in America and is also an Olympic sport once again. New to the North Shore Area, the Rugby Academy introduces girls and boys ages 4 to 14 to a variety of fun and safe non-contact games. The rules are simple and easy to learn. Participants will learn great ball and running skills, while making friends playing an internationally popular sport. North Shore Rugby Academy strives to promote a positive, encouraging and professional coaching environment. The goal of the program is to ensure that each player has a safe and enjoyable sporting experience, learning the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship and camaraderie. Equipment requirements are minimal, dress for the weather and be ready to have a great time playing a safe version of Rugby! School of Rock - Ohlook Performing Arts Center
The brand new musical - which opened this season on Broadway - follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school and ends up turning his class into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. SCHOOL OF ROCK is produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber, who composed 14 songs to create the score, which also features all of the original songs from the movie. Ohlook has been granted a special license to perform this show while it is still performing on Broadway! Come join us and add a Regional Premiere to your resume! Are you comfortable with the world as it is or would you like to be an agent of change? In a democratic society, in a business, or in an organized group of individuals, change occurs through persuasion and negotiation. By attending this camp, students will learn the basics of congressional debate and parliamentary procedure. Through a blend of games, discussions, outdoor activities, and practice sessions, they will hone analytical skills, impromptu responses, and speaking abilities. The Senior High Workshop (SHW) provides a fun, challenging, inspiring, and fulfilling week-long experience for teens while helping them to develop leadership skills needed to succeed in diverse environments. Through innovative leadership activities and engaging group challenges, students interact with both peers and staff to develop a unique leadership style to apply to their lives at home. Throughout the week, teens are encouraged to set goals and are given the tools to achieve them.
