Subpar camp
Would be an ok camp if you want your child hiking trails covered in trash & broken bottles. From one year to the next, the Y staff does nothing to clean up trash, fallen trees, glass. Last year a horse died on camp property. For what you pay to send your child to Camp Wijiwagan, I say just take them to the dump for a hike.... Read More...

This is a mandatory final camp meeting for all parents of kids who will be attending Kid's Camp this year. We will meet directly following 2nd service in the Gen Kids Room. The remaining camp balance and concessions money is due at the conclusion of this meeting. Additionally, the Camp Waiver form will be provided at this meeting. We will discuss last minute details, things to pack, and answer any questions. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.

Holiday Break Teen Knitting Camp - Minneapolis, MN
In this 3 day knitting camp students will have the opportunity to work on either a basic scarf or a pair of mittens. For those who are new to knitting or want to fine tune their knitting a purling the scarf is an ideal choice. For those who are confident with knitting and purling the mittens are a great way to explore double pointed needles as well as some shaping. Get a taste of what Camp Jonah has to offer its campers in these 10k, 5k, and kid’s 1 mile adventure runs; with all proceeds going directly to camp scholarships to help get kids to camp! If you like your races with a little more "fun" than "run" Jonah’s 5k obstacle run is the race for you. Test your limits by wading through mud pits, scaling climbing walls, conquering inflatable obstacles, dodging flying water balloons, and battling many more surprises along the way. Win the race to be crowned camp King or Queen. Be sure to bring your messy clothes/shoes, you may get dirty! For the more serious runners we recommend our 10k scenic run exploring the beauty of Trout Lake. With Mount Adams as your backdrop, this is a race is one you won’t want to miss. Break out that field hockey stick and get ready to have some fun! Join Varsity Coach Marcia Wood and her high school players in this exciting 3-day camp that will focus on skill development and having fun! Each day, campers will participate in fun skill-building drills and small sided scrimmages aimed at improving and enhancing your overall game. All skill levels are encouraged to join. Campers will enjoy some girl time, Fancy Nancy style! Each day will begin by reading a Fancy book and keeping a journal of Fancy new words. Campers will make fancy crafts and pamper themselves with painted fingers and toes. They will make tutus, hair accessories and jewelry and other fancy things and will end the week with a fantastically fancy tea party! Our camp promotes cooperation, teamwork, and everyone participating. Campers participate in soccer, flag football, dodge ball, tennis, swimming, and a variety of outdoor games. Friday afternoons the campers swim at local pools and take a weekly sports related field trip. Adrian and his staff of coaches make sure the day is balanced with two healthy snacks and time indoors out of the sun!
