Best Summer Ever
Our son just got back from the YMCA Camp and he can't stop talking about all the fun. We knew he was having a good time based on the photos he sent us but to see his face light up when he is retelling the stories is priceless. I'm sure we'll be hearing about the surf lessons, the horseback riding and the campfires for months to come! We are having a kids sewing camp this Saturday Nov 5th from 10:30am to 12:30pm at The 1 Sewing Center in the Shreve City Shopping Center. We are making cute little oven mitts just in time for Thanksgiving. Cost is $40 (includes supplies). Please rsvp your child at 318-861-1739.

The Moose is a classic northeast creek. Big drops with multiple options for cool new lines. Intermediate and advanced boaters are welcome! Boat demos will be available from Mountainman Outdoor Supply Company, and paddles will be available for demo from Werner Paddles. Friday: Evening: Arrive at Fowlersville put-in and set up camp. Drinks and food around a campfire Saturday: Morning first timers run. Creeking clinics will be available. Since 2007, Voices Together has been helping people succeed. Our unique music therapy model focuses on improving communication, building relationships, and developing social and emotional skills. Our goal is to provide individuals with developmental disabilities an innovative program that would increase critical communication and social/emotional skills that support independence and self-advocacy. AM: Get inspired by artists from the renaissance to modern art PM: Make pop art, cubist, surrealist & expressionist art works Students who register for both morning and afternoon sessions will need to bring their own packed lunch to eat during the 12:00-1:00 break. Campers will be supervised by REACH Staff during the lunch break.
