It's that time of year again!This is the first in our series of Teen Camp service projects for those of you who may need financial assistance in order to go to camp. You must complete this project if you're going to need a half or full scholarship. Don't know if you need a scholarship? Well, even if you have an inkling that you might need one, you should be there. But this project is also open to all, so if you just want to help out, join us! The project will involve cleaning out and sprucing up the public planters along Wentworth Avenue and Cermak Road in Chinatown. The project will begin at 9 AM and end around 1 PM. Lunch will then be provided to all who serve, at Ricobene's. Questions, message Kent Lau or Chi Chan. See you there!

This club meets on the second Saturday of each month and covers the fundementals of acting and audition techniques. Students will have the oppurtunity to master the use of their voice and body to create a character. Students will also be able to participate in "mock auditions" ( cold readings, prepared sides, movement, etc. ) to gain more experience for various audition expectations. School is out and were open for play! Young athletes develop their skills in any of the following sports: basketball, kickball, tee ball, soccer, tennis, flag football or floor hockey at this co-rec camp. Safety Town has partnered with the Naperville Police Department and the Naperville Fire Department to offer Safe Sitter classes. Safe Sitter is for anyone ages 11-14 wishing to be certified to become a safe and responsible babysitter. Safe Sitter classes can teach you the skills to become a safe, reliable babysitter who can also run a successful business. 630.369.8400
420 Intermediate Session 1 - 15 Tucks Point Rd., Manchester
The 420 Intermediate class is designed for sailors who have mastered the basics and want to enhance their sailing skills in a double-handed boat. Successful completion of two sessions of the 420 Beginner class, Opti Advanced, Opti Race Team, or a sailor who can demonstrate similar skills is required. There will be both chalkboard (pre and post sailing) and on-the-water instruction with a focus on fun while learning. Students will learn boat handling, sail trim and introductory spinnaker skills. This class has a hands on learn-to-sail focus. When complete, sailors will be able set, fly, and douse a spinnaker, demonstrate skipper/crew communication and teamwork, sail a 420 upwind, downwind, and do so with independence and confidence. This class is best for 12 – 18 year olds who are seeking to become proficient at two-person performance dinghy sailing.
