Mother & Daughter Camp July 31-August 3 Daughters Ages 6-12 (+ or -) Sun, July 31 at 3:00 PM to Wed, Aug 3 at 11:15 AM $120/person, ($280 max/family) Camp is an exciting experience, but its even better when Mother & Daughter get to enjoy it together! Enjoy archery, swimming, crafts, riflery, the climbing wall, fishing, canoeing, Bible study, carpet ball, Catan ball, 9-Square in the Air and campfires each evening - but do it all together as Mother and Daughter!! Camp: Skateboarding Camp - CP Skate Park
Join us for a week of skateboarding fun at the Poway Skate Park! Come build your ramp skills, develop new tricks, learn safety techniques, meet special guest pros, and make new friends. This camp will benefit skateboarders of all levels! All participants will receive an SD SkateLife sticker pack. All participants MUST have a helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads each class. Foothills Fun Camp - Session 1 - Community Services Department - City of Palo Alto
Celebrating 57 years of creating lifelong friends, long lasting memories, and a deep respect and love for nature, Foothills Fun Camp is back for another incredible summer in the great outdoors. Each session includes pre and post camp, which means campers can be dropped off anytime between 7:30am-9:45am, and picked up anytime between 3-6pm (drop-off and pickup location is at the Girl Scout House). The Science and Art of Wax - Lyman Campus
Ages: Girls and Boys Entering Grades 7 - 10 Dates: July 5 - 8 Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Format: One-week session Location: Laurels Lyman Campus in Shaker Heights Tuition: $320/session From candles to cosmetics, colorful canvases to clothing, there are many wonderful ways we use wax to beautify and enrich our lives. What is it about wax that appeals to our senses of touch, taste, sight and smell? Beeswax. Paraffin. Soy wax. Gel wax. In this camp you will learn how to work with wax as a creative medium that is as versatile as clay or metal. You will also explore how wax is made and how the very different chemical and physical properties influence what it is best used for! Campers will create their own candles, practice wax resist techniques and will even learn the age-old craft of encaustic painting (using melted wax as paint).
