Are you as inspired by the natural world as we are? Join us as we gently explore the trails of the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art in search of leaves, twigs, acorns, etc. so that we can create our own beautiful nature-inspired craft projects and works of art. Date: Thursday, August 18th 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. or Friday, August 19th 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Ages: 4 – 8 with an adult Instructors: Beth Sanders, Santino Lauricella NOTE: Choose ONE OF TWO sessions for this camp. Craft Fair & Flea Market- Benefits Youth Missions Camp & Leadership Re
Since the Dallas Harvest Festival has been cancelled, we have moved our annual Craft Fair fundraiser to that Saturday, (Sept. 19th) cause folks like YOU will be looking for something else to do. Additionally we will be expanding to include a Flea Market! Come shop at the Craft Fair for gifts, home decor, handcrafted jewelry, wood crafts, and more. This year's event includes a flea market, bake sale, and a chili cook-off. The Snackshop will be open with some delicious lunch & dinner specials including our famous APPLE DUMPLINGS!-Get 'em while they last! Proceeds will benefit students attending Student Life Camp and/or the Fall Leadership Retreat.

Campers advancing to Robotics II will learn building and programming with Lego Mindstorms NXT, Lego EV3, and VEX IQ systems. Emphasis will be on building robots and programming missions for the EV3. CIT Program: Camps - BlackRock Center for the Arts
Have an awesome summer at BlackRock and be part of a great team. This is an opportunity for students entering grades 9-12 to earn Student Service Learning hours and develop great leadership and supervision skills assisting campers between the ages of 4 ½ and 13. Experience working with children and an interest in visual art, drama, music or dance is preferred. CITs must be committed to attending their entire session and take part in a training to participate in the program. Please select one of three MANDATORY Training Dates when you register: Sunday, May 22nd from 2pm-5pm, Wednesday, June 1st from 5pm-8pm or Sunday, June 19th from 2pm-5pm.
