Chicago Youth Centers’ Camp Rosenthal is excited to announce its first annual Women's Wellness Retreat April 29th - May 1st 2016. As 21st century women we are constantly juggling the responsibilities of family, work and school. We all deserve some time out for ourselves. Why not take some time to re-connect with yourself and enjoy the fellowship of womanhood at our beautiful camp in Southwestern Michigan. Our women’s only weekend retreat will give you an opportunity to relax in a beautiful and inviting environment, reconnect with your inner self through art, meditation and reflection and allow plenty of time to appreciate sisterhood and enjoy pampering yourself. It's our 11th annual Fullerton Football Youth Camp. Please join us from Thurs. June 25-27 for three full days of football and fun. Fundamentals will be learned, lessons will be earned, and calories will be burned. We need all the support we can get. Week 4 AM - Taste of Optis - NESS
Its never too early to get on the water! The Taste of Optis class is designed for kids aged 6-11 and does not require sailing experience. Meant to be a fun group experience, it enables kids to get a taste of sailing in one week of instruction. Students will become familiar with water safety on the docks and in an optimist trainer, while learning what it feels like to be on the water. Over the week the students will be introduced to the different parts of the boat, knots, rigging and steering. One step at a time this is an important one to take in a nurturing environment with friendly and patient instructors. 860-535-9362
Team Camp 2 - Devaney
Team Camp is a training and teaching camp for the athlete and coach. Each team must have a minimum of 10 players and may be accompanied by one coach with no charge. Each team will be provided with a camp staff coach or assistant, depending on your teams needs. Coaches please contact the volleyball office to reserve a place for your team, (402) 472-2399. Each additional coach (resident) is $100. The number of teams will be limited. Teams of all levels are welcome. **It is the policy of the University of Nebraska not to discriminate on the basis of sex, age, handicap, race, color, religion, martial status, veterans status, national or ethnic origin or sexual orientation. This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.Teen artists wishing to expand and deepen their understanding of arts experiences will want to join in this popular and intensive summer camp. Students of all skill levels will be engaged in the creative process through a variety of classic art mediums and techniques including painting, drawing, pottery making, printmaking, and more in a way they may not have time for during the school year. Because of the multi-media nature of this camp, there will be an emphasis on guiding teens to try new methods and embrace creativity! Artists should wear clothing that can get dirty during the creation of art. Five-Mile City: A 3-D Imaginative Adventure - Visual Art Institute
Have you ever wanted to build a huge, imaginary city with parks, buildings, roads, schools, and anything else your heart desires? Students will work with a professional architect as they plan and build a 3-D city. Each student will create parts of the 5-Mile City.
