I sent my 15 year old daughter to the 3 week session and she LOVED it. Which is amazing because my daughter is like many teenagers and is too cool for everything. Fimbulwinter might be kept at bay if we show how much we enjoy each others' company while we play and make merry all through the wintery day and into the night! Classes for period games will be taught throughout the day, and yes, we are looking for folks to teach their favorite period dice, bone, board, card, chance,and other games! The Cuil Cholium Game Library will be present, with multiple boards for Nine, Six, and Three Man Morris, Checkers, Chess, Mancala,etc as well as binders with rules and instructions for all these games and more.

Famous Characters & Scene Study - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This class is designed for 3rd-5th grade students. The fun continues! For interested students with some acting experience. Well explore changing our voices and bodies to represent different characters from favorite and familiar stories like the Harry Potter series, The Wizard of Oz, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Secret Garden...perhaps well travel to Narnia. Students will get to stretch their wings a bit each week doing dramatic readings. Well include some fun theatre games and improv activities too! At the final class parents will be invited to a staged presentation. INSTRUCTOR ROBERTA MASTER-CULLEN has been teaching childrens classes and camps at the Little Theatre for seven years. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild specializing in radio and television voiceovers, and has been a television news anchor and reporter. Defensive & Offensive Concepts Camp The Defensive segment will cover defensive tactics, coverages, checking, body play, gap control, positioning, defensive theory, transitions, jumping into the play, and defending odd-man rushes. The Offensive segment will focus on offensive theory, face-offs, sustaining an attack, cycling, attacking with speed, odd-man rushes for, offense at the puck, offense away from the puck, and support. ATTENTION GOALTENDERS - Every RMHS camp will offer professional goaltending instruction from one of our professional goaltending coaches. Foothills Day Camp - Session 3 - Community Services Department - City of Palo Alto
Celebrating 57 years of creating lifelong friends, long lasting memories, and a deep respect and love for nature, Foothills Day Camp is back for another incredible summer in the great outdoors. Each session includes pre and post camp, which means campers can be dropped off anytime between 7:30am-8:45am, and picked up anytime between 4-6pm (drop-off and pickup location is at the Girl Scout House). Additionally, campers will spend the second Thursday of each session sleeping under a blanket of stars at Camp Towle for the ultimate campout experience. Night activities include a delicious BBQ, animated storytelling around the campfire, a thrilling night hike, and more.
