Get your green on as you explore how STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is a part of everything around us. This program will give participants an integrated exposure to the various STEM fields and how they can be applied within an environmental context. Explorations will include the chemistry of recycling, creating power from worms, and energy transfer. I sent my son to Camp Sequoia this past summer because I had heard that it was an excellent camp for boys that struggle with ADHD. For rising 3rd-5th grade students Dont come unraveled by summer boredom! Learn a new hobby at knitting camp! All students will learn the basics of knitting: how to cast on, bind off, knit, purl, and make I-cord. There will be three different projects each week. Other fun activities may include dying yarn with Kool-Aid and a basic weaving project. You may register for just the first week, or both!
