KidzArt MIXED MEDIA - Heritage Elementary
Our students explore the many elements of the visual arts. During the session, students are exposed to a variety of artistic styles, cultural interpretations, and mediums. The elements of brainstorming and more complex forms of problem solving are introduced through interactive format. Students begin to talk enthusiastically about possibilities. Architectural Adventures - Middle School
Architectural Adventures combines science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts in a uniquely fun and challenging way valuable for young people to enjoy, that allows hands-on learning experiences. Children will be inspired by building upon their natural curiosity to learn about different aspects of modern architecture. For example, a ‘green engineering unit allows students to create, test, and refine architectural designs involving the use of alternative energy and environmental awareness. Students will learn how to build efficient wind powered machines and discover how these machines can help reduce fuel consumption. Throughout the week, students will apply basic engineering design concepts to create, test, and refine a variety of machines and mechanical systems, including cars, planes, and cranes. Students will also learn the basics of fluid dynamics while constructing roller coasters and other vehicles, culminating in the construction of an incredibly fast air powered dragster that students get to keep at the end of the course. Students will also compete in groups to build the highest structure! College Soccer Academy - College ID Camp - So Cal Sports Complex
College Soccer Academy is holding a College ID Camp at the So Cal Sports Complex in Oceanside, California. There will be college coaches from Cal, and other schools TBD, running the sessions. Division I, II, and III coaches will be attendance to scout and recruit the event. A great opportunity to get seen by numerous coaches and learn great deal to take your game to the next level! (There will be specific goalkeeper training both days) Tuesday: 9AM-3PM Wednesday: 9AM-4PM ***There is a $50 non-refundable deposit.
