For the week of July 5th, there is no class on July 4th. When adding Before Care, After Care, or Lunches, you will select additional quantities to cover the full 3 weeks as needed. Theres something for every young theater artist this summer at SJC! Boys and girls entering 3rd through 8th grade will be divided by age to learn a broad range of performance skills, including acting, singing, and dance. Campers will continue to challenge their imaginations with classes in improvisation, playwriting, and production design. Our professional staff of New York theater artists and educators will lead the groups through creative exercises to build an ensemble where every camper gets the chance to shine! Both of our 3-week camp sessions culminate in a unique performance showcase open to family and friends. Teen Cooking Camp: Session 1 - Rochester, MN
Your West Circle Drive Hy-Vee is offering a series of cooking classes designed to teach teens (age 12-17) essential cooking skills! Teens will be able to eat their creations at the end of the class. Classes will be held every Thursday 11:00 – 12:30pm for five weeks starting July 14th. July 14th: Knife skills and cooking basics: chef salads Classes will be taught in our DISH classroom by the in-store dietitian and one of our talented chefs. Fees: $25 per class OR $100 for entire 5-week series, due on date of registration. Registration required at least 72 hours prior to scheduled class. A first orchestral experience for students who have completed at least one year of string instruction. The focus is ensemble playing and more advanced string technique. Writing for 9th and 10th Grade - Seattle Preparatory School
Students will strengthen their academic writing skills through reading, interpreting, and writing contemporary poems. This is an opportunity for students to focus on the specific details of a texts word choice, structure, imagery, and symbolism, both as readers and as creative writers. (Its amazing how much more deeply you can understand whats happening in literature when you try your hand at crafting it!)
