Summer Youth Baseball Development Camp @ RVYBL - Kankakee, IL
Is your child looking to improve his or her baseball skills or looking for something fun & productive to do during summer break? Then enroll them in our 2-day baseball camp. Our 2-day camp will focus on improve each player's hitting & fielding skills as well as instruct them on proper base running technique and understanding situational plays (from turning a double play to backing up positions properly and more). After the camp, each player will also receive a take home guide that covers all the training they received during the camp so they can reference back to it when needed ~ or so parents can help more at home! Teacher Work Day ~ Full day services available, 7am-6pm, $30/student, pizza lunch provided or children may bring their own lunch, snacks provided, NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES or toys, however, children may bring books. Children will be engaged in fun activities, crafts, games, bouncy houses, indoor basketball, movie time, gaming systems, pool tables and more! Be sure to wear or bring SOCKS! The Elephants Child - The Georgetown Palace Theatre
Children the whole world round have delighted to the telling and re-telling of Rudyard Kiplings beloved story of how the Elephants child got his trunk. This charming musical adaptation perserves much of Kiplings clever text with its fascinating word rhythms and oral imagery, while five original songs capture the mystery and humor of Elephants childs exciting adventure down the "Great Grey-Green Greasy limpopo River". Costumes, dance, and wonderful dialogue mixed with the these great songs will give our youngest actors a spectacular time creating a mini-musical for family and friends while learning how to work as a team. Junior Soccer Shots Girls/Boys - Sanford Day Camp
Soccer camp will be held under the directions of Soccer Shots™, a leader in youth soccer development in the DE and PA area under the direction of C.C. Colasante. CC was an all-state player for Salesianum, All-American while playing at LaSalle, and also played professionally for the Philadelphia Kixx. Players will be taught the fundamentals of shooting and passing. Mornings will consist of skill sessions and afternoons will be occupied with competitive games and scrimmages. Teamwork around the net will be emphasized. ------------- LOCATION: Sanford School. Please drop your child off at the Sports Center at 8:45 a.m. Pick up will be in the same location at 11:45 a.m. unless your child is registered for day camp (1/2 day) in which case they will be escorted to lunch and then to day camp for the afternoon. ------------ RAINY DAYS: Please wear sneakers. Camp held indoors ------------ WHAT TO BRING: Light-weight, loose fitting shirts, shorts, socks and sneakers or soccer shoes. Water Bottle Bathing suit and towel for free swim in the afternoon. Wiz Kids Camp ( Grades 7 - 9)Broadway is coming to Plainsboro this summer! This camp will feature songs from The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz and Wicked. Daily vocal, acting and dance lessons will be enhanced by fun theater games and activities. Family and friends will be amazed by the performance on the last day of camp. Special Note: The performance will occur at 3:30 pm on Friday and camp will conclude at 4:00 pm.
