Students will strengthen their academic writing skills through reading, interpreting, and writing contemporary poems. This is an opportunity for students to focus on the specific details of a texts word choice, structure, imagery, and symbolism, both as readers and as creative writers. (Its amazing how much more deeply you can understand whats happening in literature when you try your hand at crafting it!) Its also a chance for students to practice developing arguments by choosing strong evidence and providing insightful analysis. Taught by Ms. Jen Dotsey. Bozeman Aerial Fitness presents Kids Circus Camp! Circus Camp participants will work through aerial exercises that build strength, muscle awareness and balance.We create noncompetitive environment that teaches confidence and the joy of fitness through aerial arts. We provide a safe and structured introduction to aerial equipment including the aerial hoop, aerial silks,and the aerial hammock and basic tumbling. Campers will work on yoga games specifically designed for children, aerial class and an integrated art project. Them One Guys Car Club is hosting our 5th annual fundraiser car show on Saturday, June 11th 2016 in K-Mart parking lot at 4651 S. US HWY 41 in Terre Haute, IN 47802. All proceeds will be donated to Boy Scout Troop 504 to help them pay for camp and other trips and supplies. Troop 504 will have a free will donation concession stand and are hand making the awards to be given to the winner of each class. The winners of each class will be determined by the spectators' popular vote and there will also be a scouts choice award which will be determined by the popular vote of Boy Scouts of any troop who come to the car show with their BSA membership card or Class A shirt on. There will be a $10 fee for early bird registration or day of show fee of $15 to enter cars, trucks or motorcycles. The first 25 will recieve a dash plaque! 2016 RVA Spring Break Fishing Camp - Forest Hill Park
We will be headed to a private pond to fish for the day. This is a great time of year to be out on the water as the fish are usually hungry coming out of the colder months. We provide all the equipment. No experience needed. Boys and girls ages 7-15. Times 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Cost $75. 804-272-6362
Day Camp 4 Explorers - Sugar Hollow Camp
The Living Earth Day Camps are a one-of-a-kind nature camp experience. We have been voted a favorite summer day camp for over 7 years!! We will spend the week exploring the mountains, streams and other wild places. Campers work together in small groups learning about the natural world, plants, mammals, tracking, birds, wilderness survival, awareness and so much more. Description: There is nothing like stepping out onto the Sheakley Athletic Complex under the lights. Our Friday Night Lights Camp is an up-tempo evening of football with the Cincinnati Coaching Staff and top college coaches from the Midwest. This camp will be held at our practice complex under the lights, simulating a game day environment. Campers will go through combine style testing demos, position drills, 1-on-1 drills, speed drills, and on field competitions focusing on proper techniques and fundamentals. All One Day Camps feature in person instruction by the University of Cincinnati Football Coaches, along with many other coaches from FBS, FCS, Division II, and Division III level Colleges. A Member of the Cincinnati Football Staff will lead each Position. Camp is open to football players going into Grades 9 to 12in the fall of 2016, CHECK IN/CHECK OUT PROCEDURES • Check In – Friday, June 3, 2016 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., Linder Athletic Center • Closing Remarks – 7:00 pm., Sheakley Athletic Complex WHAT TO BRING • Any special shoes you may use.
