Students will write a script, produce, direct, film, and star in a movie in our exciting 1 week camp! Beginning the first day campers will create a story, develop characters, design sets, even work on costumes and make-up. They will then get a crash course in camera work and filming techniques using digital video equipment. Putting all the skills together, students make a movie! Each participant receives a finished copy of the film. 817-421-2825

We are offering free haircuts to any Kid SpOt patients! We know haircuts can be a difficult task to complete for children with disabliltes. We hope to provide a calming one-on-one experience for these children to cater to their sensory needs. We will have several hairdressers helping out with this event. Please contact the Kid SpOt Center in Campbellsivlle at 270.465.7768 if you would like to reserve a spot for your child! We have a select number of appts available......so, first come, first serve! If we get an overwhelming response, we will place your name on a wait list and try to get more supports!

Field trips are available for Busy Bees, Dragonflies, Penguins & Potty Trained Pandas. All children must wear their Halsey Shirt on all field trips. If your child is under 3 years old he/she may attend the trip if you or your spouse or other loved one join us. Parents are always welcome to attend and space is limited. Pathways from Medieval to Modern Knighthood - Lower School Gym Building G
Campers will learn the ways of the medieval world as they experience a week in the life of a knight in training. Campers will learn about medieval history, mythology, European martial arts, woodcraft, and a whole host of skills necessary for survival in the medieval world on the path to becoming a knight. The foundation of the camp will be learning the knightly art of combat with the two-handed longsword. Campers will use specially constructed training swords with nylon blades and safety equipment to learn the fighting techniques of the German style of longsword combat. Over the week, we will evolve our training to the modern Olympic sword comparing the lives then, and the lives now of modern heroes. Offered in partnership with Midsouth Fencers Club 9194932642.0

Campers gain geographical, cultural and artistic awareness of South American countries through exposure to their music, food and dance forms. Additionally campers learn how to move to new rhythms. No prior dance training required. Campers play active & quiet games, create, sing songs, act, dance, cook, play sports and discover the joys of learning Spanish through engaging activities. Theme vocabulary includes colors, counting, verbs, nouns related to instruments, adjectives, sounds, tastes and places. Campers learn common Spanish words & phrases for movements, directions & parts of the body while getting in shape to lively music. Celebration Day Wed.
