Outdoor Youth Day - West Palm Beach, FL
(FSCA) Florida Sportsmen's Conservation Association 16th Annual Outdoor Youth Day Our Annual event is scheduled for February 6,2016 at the Everglades Youth Camp in J W Corbett WMA. We are expecting over 1,500 children of all ages to come and enjoy various activities. In an effort to reduce the increasing decline of our children's interest in the outdoors, FSCA has created an Outdoor Youth Day. Outdoor Youth Day is a Program specifically designed to educate children to many different recreational activities available in our natural areas but munch more importantly have some fun outdoors. This is the 16th Annual Outdoor Youth Day event and It’s FSCA biggest day of the year. Youth Day has buggy rides, canoeing, pony rides, airboat rides and displayed, archery, gun range instruction, fishing and wildlife shows to reach kids of all ages and show them the benefits of being outdoors instead of in front of a TV. Winter Teen Camp - Warwick, RI
Teens, you are invited to join us the Winter Teen Camp! This year’s theme is “authentic” and we will be focusing on how to live authentically as children of our Creator. Our culture is talking a lot about what it means to be “true”, “real”, and “you”. What does it mean to really live as were made to live? How can we embrace God’s vision for our lives and fight against the pull to just go with the flow? Our prayer is that your teenagers will return home with more passion to live for God than ever before. It is our desire that any teen that would like to join us for the Winter Teen Camp is able to. With this in mind, our early bird rate is only $50.00 for those who register by December 1st. After December 1st the cost is $75. Our event will take place at Living Faith Christian Church in Warwick, Rhode Island. Our dates for this three-day event are Wednesday, December 28 to Friday, December 30, 2016. Little Red Spying Hood Production Fee Payment - Seacoast Repertory Theatre
Little Red Spying Hood is a PAPA Youth Workshop Production and is an audition-based program. There is a production fee of $95 per student to participate in the production. Students rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-6pm and some Saturdays from 10:30am-12:30pm. Locations of rehearsals are usually at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre, but some will take place at RepNorth. The dates of the show are: February 6, 7, 13, 14 at 11am 603-433-4793 x115

The Recreation Department is once again offering one-week day camps that will be held at Lessenger Elementary (30150 Campbell). Campers are asked to wear sneakers/tennis shoes (no sandals, flip-flops or open toe shoes) each day and to bring their own sack lunch (including beverages) unless otherwise noted. Teen Camps- Handbuilding with Clay! - Artworks Texas Studio
This special camp is designed for teens who want to get their hands into clay for 3 hours each day! Teens who have already participated in an Artworks Texas pottery class or workshop are welcome to attend this camp. Students who already have experience with clay will be involved in more advanced projects. Handbuilding is the oldest form of working with clay. Ancient techniques were used to create tools for everyday living, long before the invention of the pottery wheel. Students will explore many aspects of creating with clay off the wheel. Techniques such as coil, pinch pots & slabs will be used in combination to create work during the week. At the end of camp, all projects will be fired & ready for pickup in 2-3 weeks.
