Learn and master the sport of archery in a safe environment. Participants will learn an excellent, nationally recognized beginners 9 step to the 10 ring progression which was created by the Coaches Developmental Committee of the National Archery Association. Archery helps participants concentration and increases discipline. Exciting drills and fun games will be implemented in this camp. 2nd Annual Youth Campout - Middle Fork Wildlife Mgmt Area
Bring your kids, grandchildren, nieces, nephews. WFBCHU 2nd annual youth camp. Friday, September 18: Check in 5 pm. Ride at 6 pm. Hobo dinner assembly upon return from ride. Leave No Trace demonstration during dinner. Guitar music and sing along. Hobo dinners and smores provided by Chapter. Saturday, September 19: Creakfast cooked and provided by Chapter. Service project if applicable. AM ride. Lunch on your own. 2 pm Ponies on Parade. Decorate your horse with animal friendly paint, glitter, ribbons, feathers, etc. We will lead decorated ponies through campground. PM ride if desired. First aid demo. Dinner hot dogs, chips, pork n beans provided by Chapter. Scavenger hunt 7 pm. Campfire smores and music. Sunday, September 20: Breakfast provided by Chapter. Ride. Good byes. Skyhawks Tennis Camp - City of Mukilteo Recreation
In Skyhawks tennis programs, players learn proper grips, footwork, strokes, volleys and serves during a series of drills designed to teach skills in a fun and dynamic way. Athletes also learn the rules and etiquette that make tennis an exciting game. Due to limited court space, these programs fill quickly. participants should bring racquet, appropriate clothing, two snacks, a water bottle, running shoes, and sunscreen. Artists in Residence II with Nelli Shevelkina & Connie Pfeiffer (Ages 7-14) - Young People
Folk Art Around The World with Nellie Shevelkina Go Global! Learn about different cultures through their arts. We will travel from Africa to the Americas, Europe to Asia, Australia and in between discovering traditional folk arts from around the world. Explore the history, techniques, and special meanings of various crafts while noticing similarities and differences in their designs, patterns, and styles. We will create mosaics, painted and printed fabrics, sand paintings, mask making, paper maché figurines, paper cutouts, clay whistles, just to name a few. Students are encouraged to research their own cultural and ethnic backgrounds and proudly share these artistic traditions with the class. Fun with Metal with Connie Pfeiffer Make jewelry and mini-sculpture with copper sheet metal and wire to wear or hang. Stamp, fold, hammer, bend, cut, twist and even heat metal to create pendants, medallions and forms from nature such as pea pods and leaves. Students will explore using basic hand tools, especially hammers, mallets, cutters, files, pliers and torches (one-on-one with instructor) to create works in metal. Day Camp 2 - University of Dayton
The Day Camps will emphasize fundamental skill development. The daily program will feature individual attention, small group instruction, contests and competitions, including 5-on-5 play. This is a campers unique opportunity to experience the University of Dayton Mens Basketball program up close. Week 6 American Girl Digital Diary - Friends School Mullica Hill
Bring your American Girl doll to camp with you, and together, you can tell a story! Using iMovie, you will create a short video starring your AG doll(s)! Create a script, choose costumes, build scenery, shoot footage, edit your scenes, etc. Learn the basics of iMovie while having fun with your AG dolls. While morning activities are geared toward the American Girl theme, all weekly FSMH camps include a trip to the pool Monday-Thursday for a swim lesson and play time. Full day campers will also have a choice in the afternoon to play outdoor games or work on arts and crafts.
