This event is for any 9th - 12th Grader wishing to serve as a Counselor In Training for summer 2016. It will include leadership training, game leading, Bible Study, campfires and more. Camp begins at 1 p.m. Wednesday and ends at 4 p.m. Friday. 859-494-9113
Beading and Art: 1:00-3:00 PM Session ~~ Lets go to the Beach - Posh Paint Pub
Lets bead with beach theme charms and paint water color beaches. What fun adding art with beading. We will also work with watercolor and teach art through design keeping with our theme for the week. Being a counselor-in-training (CIT) is a leadership opportunity for high school students. CITs lead younger campers during their camp sessions, helping younger kids make friends, try new things, and have a great time. CIT camp is an opportunity learn all the skills it takes to be an amazing counselor, from leading songs and games to public speaking, time management and group leadership. Being a CIT is one of the best experiences at Camp Talahi! You must attend this training week to be a CIT for summer 2016. SESSION 2 JUNE 27-29 Catch a Wave – An introduction to musical theater Monday – Wednesday PM Session: 1:00-3:30pm For kids entering 1st or 2nd grade in the Fall of 2016 Fee: Early Bird - $50, General - $55 ($60 on or after May 15) Campers will learn to explore their creativity through music, movement, acting games, arts and crafts. This camp gives kids a great introduction to theater arts in a nurturing and warm atmosphere using beach-themed scene and music.
