The Beginning Traditional Strings class is for students in Third and Fourth Grade who have no experience and wish to play violin, viola, cello or bass in a traditional class setting. The class will focus on proper instrument posture, note reading and repertoire from the Essential Elements for Strings. These weekly, hour-long lessons include a snack and short break. This is a TEAM camp that will have very little instruction but will be set up more for Middle School teams getting prepared for the upcoming season. There will be different forms of tournaments set up that will vary based on the score of each set along with a traditional tournament that will run throughout the entire 3 days. The camp is $45 per camper and they will receive a lunch on all 3 days. Also, there is a team minimum of 8 kids per middle school. If you are paying for this camp through the school volleyball fund and would like to do just one check, please email Amy Barmore at and she will give you a coupon code to all this to happen. 859-233-8300

This is a single, full day version of Camp Catapult. It should be registered for once during Spring Break unless the student would like to make a second, different catapult on Tuesday.
