This course develops leadership skills for middle school students in preparation for High School and beyond. Students spend time in discussion around Harkness Tables, in leadership sessions, in class learning from EHS teachers, participating in PE oriented competitions, and visiting with guest speakers. The leadership camp focuses on hands-on applied projects in various disciplines while covering topics such as public speaking, study skills, writing, technology, and organization. You can come in and visit with the troop while you eat OR you can participate via the drive-thru! Just tell them you're with the fundraiser when you order, they'll put a copy of your receipt in a basket and a portion of your meal cost will be donated to our troop! That's it, SO easy! Long Tail Knits will be hosting a summer camp for students looking to learn to knit or crochet. This will be held at the store June 13 through June 17 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. You will learn the basics in knit/crochet. Your choice. The cost of the camp will be $25.00 per day or $125.00 for the week. If you pay for the entire week ahead of time, you will receive a 10% discount. This does not include the cost of materials. We will be offering beginner patterns for those who are just starting out and for those who have some of the basics down, we will have intermediate beginner projects for learning other techniques and stitches. Recommended age is 10 and up. If you have any questions, please let me know by posting in the comments and I will get back to you as soon as I can. NMSU Golf Course will once again be hosting Junior Golf Camps throughout the summer. Instructional Programming will be AGE and ABILITY specific. Junior Golfers of all abilities are encouraged to sign up for our camps. NMSU GC summer camps are a great way to introduce your child to the game and or help them elevate their game to the next level for those aspiring to play on a high school or college golf. Instruction will be lead by Jason White, PGA Head Golf Professional with the assistance of our Junior Golf Leader Tyler Aynes and NMSU PGA Golf Management Students. Maximum Student to Instructor ratio will be 7:1. The Camp will meet at the NMSU Driving Range if you need directions feel free to contact the NMSU ProShop 575-646-3219. We will meet Monday-Thursday from 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM. Please have your child or children ready to go at 8:30 AM and be ready to pick them up at 10:30 AM.
