This is our HALF DAY option for Young Paleontologist. Camp Young Paleontologist will get your child excited about dinosaurs, fossils, and more! Activities and experiments explore the prehistoric era. During each activity branches of science and noteworthy scientists are introduced. (If your child has any food allergies, please make sure to include that on your online registration form). These exciting experiments are sure to delight and spark the science minds of our youngest little campers, ages 4 and 5. Sample Projects: Fossil rubbings, Dino dig!, Edible volcano, Crystal growing trees, Eruptions, and more! Our pre-k half day camps are 9am-1pm with pre camp options available as well! The W Theater Presents, "Acting Up" A Children & Teen Performing Arts
The W Theater proudly presents, "Acting Up" A Children & Teen Performing Arts Camp. If you have a child or teen between the ages of 6 and 18 and they love "Acting Up", please register them for this camp (workshop). Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 11am - 5pm at the Broward County Main Library Auditorium Downtown Ft. Lauderdale. There will be age appropriate acting and singing classes with experienced instructors and assistants. Those who are serious will be casted in Sonya Welch's Stage Play, "Don't Give Up" which was written especially for children & teens. The Advanced Junior Bulldog camp is a 3 day camp for kids ages 10 and up who are serious about receiving more advanced golf instruction from the MSU Golf Course Professional Staff. Each day will include instruction in the morning, a break for lunch, and play on the course to follow. Outdoor Painting Adventure - Main Campus
Enjoy learning how to paint outside, En Plein Air, with Harding Middle School Art teacher Amanda Penecale. We will learn how to prepare our materials, take field notes, and paint on location. The camp includes a nice field sketchbook. Campers will create studies with colored pencils in their sketchbooks and then make finished paintings using opaque watercolors.
