Is your child excited about camp but not quite ready to spend the night? Good news! Timberlake offers Day Camp every Wednesday of regular camp for children from Kindergarten to 5th Grade. Each Day Camp offers a rotation of different typical camp activities. We provide lunch for every camper, and they are put into small "cabin" groups, always in the care of our trained staff. NOTE: Preregistration for Day Camp is not necessary. If you wish, you can simply register and pay when you arrive at camp. Schedule 8:40-9 am - Check in (Follow the signs!) 9:30-11:30 - Rotation of games, camp activities 11:30-12:30 - Lunch and change for swimming 12:30-3:00 - Boats, swim time and camp store 3:00-3:30 - Bible Time with the camp pastor 4 pm - Pick up time What to Bring Wear clothes that can get dirty and muddy. Have you ever wondered how to speak "computer"? Do you like to draw your own cartoon or anime characters and create imaginative stories? This summer you will learn to communicate your imaginative ideas from your brain to a computers digital brain. Through use of Scratch.mit.edu you will learn how to make interactive cartoon characters, animate short stories, and design your very own computer game. No programming experience is necessary. Students will play each others games and participate in an arcade festival on the last day of class. Join us this summer and put your imagination to the test! 714-832-6299

Chess Wizards introduces students to the magical world of chess. Campers learn how to play and master chess techniques from our renowned Chess Wizards. They perform hands-on experiments as they learn about brains, taste buds, blood, muscles and bones, check heart rates and listen to their lungs with their very own stethoscope. Campers will extract DNA and learn about genetics, test for germs, build spinal column, ear drum and lung models.
