Free Summer Horse Day Camp for Kids, Week 8 of 9 - Lacomb, OR
This is not your typical day camp! Kids learn how to get big jobs done and earn big rewards through our framework of barn, garden, and community activities. Our mixture of work, learning, and play develops character, leadership, and real-world skills. Kids start the morning cleaning stalls and doing other jobs, then have a well-supervised fellowship lunch, then ride or do other horse activities in the afternoon. For the kids that are interested in doing other things doing the horsemanship time, we have interesting building or maintenance projects as well as gardening. Sometimes we have someone come share an aspect of their career, or we will go on a field trip to a business, and sometimes we need to go pick up hay or other donations as part of the camp day. Toward the end of the day as parents arrive, we usually do a short devotion that gives kids the chance to tell how they illustrated a positive characteristic that day. Parents and kids should attend a 90-minute tour and orientation prior to enrolling, you just call us and schedule a time. Youth Football Camp - Pawhuska, OK
Big T Sports and Athletics Youth Football Camp. Non-Contact camp for youth entering grades 1-6 in Fall 2015. Former College (OU and OSU) and NFL players (Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, Denver Broncos, and Cleveland Browns) will be on site coaching drills, stations, and interacting with campers. Cost is $85 per camper which includes T-shirt, water bottle, cinch pack, lunch, and registration. Camp is July 25th, 2015 from 8:30 to 3 p.m. in Pawhuska, OK at Pawhuska High School Football Field. Teen Aerial Cirque Summer Camp - Stamford, CT
Teens need something to do over summer break? This is the perfect chance for them to try something new and have fun! Ice Hockey Camp - Cabin John Ice Rink
Prerequisite: Passed Hockey 2 or equivalent. If your child loves hockey, why not treat them to a 5-day hockey camp? Well focus on skating, stick handling and off-ice fitness; and incorporate elements of power skating, passing and shooting, and games to make this a fun-filled week! Plus, each camper will receive a complimentary hockey jersey! Players will be assigned to groups according to their skill level. Full gear required: Caged helmet, curved stick cut to skaters height, shin guards, elbow and shoulder pads, hockey gloves and pants, cup, and hockey skates. Rental hockey skates are available.
